If you’re going to do this season’s hottest trend, do it like Zendaya Coleman. The then-20-year-old actress proved her fashion prowess at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards as she flawlessly executed the sheer dress trend in a Zuhair Murad maxi dress from the 2016/2017 Autumn Winter collection.

The dress was covered in gorgeous appliqués and embellishments and featured bell sleeves and a deep plunging neckline. Though green isn’t easy to wear, the actress pulled it off, even calling it her “new power color” on Instagram.

To keep focus on her detailed dress, the star wore it with a pair of simple yet stunning bronze platform sandals from Le Silla. The extra high heels perfectly complemented the length of her designer creation.

Though we loved Zendaya’s outfit and sky-high heels, her “Spiderman: Homecoming” co-star Tom Holland wasn’t thrilled with her height.

“I just want to start off by thanking whoever made Zendaya’s shoes for making them so tall,” he joked as she stood at least six inches taller than him while the two stood side-by-side to present the new trailer for their upcoming film. He made up for his quip with a fantastic acrobatic move shortly after, though. Check out the whole thing below.

Zendaya’s platform sandals are unfortunately not available online. However, you can find similar shoes from Le Silla at Farfetch.
