You should never expect a dull red carpet when Xochitl Gomez is around. With her whimsical clothing choices, the Mexican-American celebrity never fails to liven up any occasion, so it’s no surprise that she’s captured my attention and is now regarded as one of this generation’s top fashion icons.
Xochitl wrapped up June with another round of chic ensembles, wearing eye-catching summery dresses to commemorate the 25th anniversary of NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) and celebrate MPTF NextGen’s Annual Summer Party.

Red Hot in Fringe Dress
On Friday, June 28, Xochitl Gomez celebrated NALIP’s 25th anniversary with her fellow Latinas, recognizing the resilience and achievements of the contemporary Latina icons in the industry.
As I expected from today’s style icon, MCU’s America Chavez showed up wearing a striking red outfit that made her stand out. Even if it’s not my favorite look from her, I think she’s amazing for having pulled off such a daring appearance—and at just 18? She is already demonstrating her expertise in fashion.
Gomez wore a bold string bra top with ruffled fringes cascading down the front, leaving little to the imagination—but in a playful way. It features a halter strap with a red rose embellishment in the middle and is fastened around her neck and back with a very thin thread.

Showing her entire midriff and sexy back, Xochitl paired her flirty bra top with a red column skirt that has the same ruffle accents cascading diagonally down the floor-sweeping train. I love how it hugs her hips, accentuating her feminine curves.
Gold accessories are the ideal way to complete a red ensemble. And I’m glad Xochitl did just that, styling her eye-catching crimson ensemble with dazzling gold statement pieces.
She fastened gold hammered earrings to her ears and wore tiny diamond studs on her inner conch and nose. She didn’t wear a watch or bracelet but accessorized her hands with several chunky gold rings.

Her shoes aren’t visible, but I imagine a pair of red or gold stilettos underneath the red skirt. Red is a no-brainer choice for a monochromatic finish, but someone as fun as Xochitl may pick gold to complement her accessories.
When it came to her glam, Xochitl wore reddish-brown makeup to go with her ensemble. She highlighted her brown eyes with shimmering eyeshadow, thick mascara, and cat eyeliner, added bronze blush to her cheeks, and finished her look with muted red lipstick.
Xochitl styled her lustrous short bob hair with a slight bouffant and wore her signature blunt bangs trimmed a few centimeters above her eyebrows.

Sensual yet Whimsical in Periwinkle Fishnet Dress
The previous weekend, June 23, Xochitl attended the MPTF NextGen Board 2024 Summer Party, hosted by Insecure actor Jay Ellis on the rooftop of NeueHouse Hollywood.
Benefiting the Motion Picture and Television Fund, which provides health and social assistance to active and retired entertainment industry professionals, the event brought together the “next generation of leadership in the entertainment industry.”
One of today’s rising stars, Xochitl, rightfully graced the event and made an impression by showing up in a chic periwinkle dress that highlighted her curves.

I’m not sure how to put it exactly, but it appears to be a crocheted fishnet dress that blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. It features a cutout-paneled long-sleeve bodice that seems to be layered beneath a structured corset with ribbed bra cups and thick shoulder straps.
The lower portion has a tonal underlay for coverage, beautifully enhancing her hips before flowing into a column midi skirt.
As always, Xochitl looked amazing. However, I would not wear her dress, not because I don’t like it but because it’s too bold for my taste.

Sporting her signature bangs, Xochitl styled her short hair in voluminous, bouncy curls. She looked radiant with bronzed makeup, highlighting her features with blush, coordinating eyeshadow, fluttery eyelashes, and pink lipstick.
As for accessories, Xochitl went with gold, and I must say they were excellent. She added sparkle to her ensemble with chunky gold rings, a delicate bracelet, and dangling chain link earrings.
Gomez slipped into a pair of mirror metallic gold pumps to elevate the look. They are sleek with pointed toes and are finished with stiletto heels.
