We love awards ceremonies. It’s always fun to spot the celebrities on the red carpets and pick out gorgeous gowns and eccentric outfits. But, for every celebrity that cracks the “best dressed” list, there’s also a star that makes it onto the “worst dressed” list. The recent 2013 Brit Awards allowed us to rattle off the names of stars that tried but ultimately failed.
We found several fashion felons at the 2013 Brit Awards. And while we wish everyone could look like Taylor Swift on the red carpet, these ladies disappointed on the red carpet.
1. Jaime Winstone’s Jukebox Misstep
The British actress played it a little too funky in a very colorful jukebox-inspired Adidas dress. Yes, she wore an Adidas dress to a formal red carpet event; a big mistake.

2. Katherine Jenkins’ Fashion Faux Pas
Usually, classical singer Katherine Jenkins dresses beautifully, so this is a rare mishap.
However, the Stella McCartney dress she chose was too much to look at. Not only was the dress’s print too busy, but its silhouette was incredibly unflattering. The dress had a weird bubble shape on the back, making Katherine look bloated from behind.

3. Corinne Bailey Rae’s Casual Crinkle
This crinkled number from Miu Miu’s Spring 2013 collection would look a little more acceptable on a less formal occasion.
But since the 2013 Brit Awards is a fancy event, the creased fabric matched Corinne’s messy ‘do just didn’t work.

4. Lana Del Rey’s Casual Chanel
This might be the best of the worst. While the Chanel outfit isn’t that bad, we expected more from Lana’s stylist. The singer’s makeup and jewels were great, but it felt like Lana got too lazy to dress up and just threw on her favorite Chanel coat.
