Ava Phillippe strikes an uncanny resemblance to her mom, Reese Witherspoon. And as she posed alongside the A-list superstar on the carpet at the recently concluded Critics Choice Awards, they had everyone doing a double take.
Reese accompanied her daughter Ava to the ceremony, where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. The series was also up for the Golden Globe Best TV Series Drama but lost to HBO’s Succession. Despite not winning any awards yet, Reese looked stunning walking the red carpet with her most prized possessions—her children.
The 47-year-old actress, blessed with strong genes, took her son Deacon, 20, to his first-ever awards ceremony, the 81st Golden Globes, a week prior.

Reese’s eldest daughter showcased her arm tattoos in an embellished black minidress by Monique Lhuillier.
While the Filipino fashion designer is most recognized for her ethereal bridal gowns, she also creates timeless, modern pieces that exude grace and elegance.
Ava’s minidress perfectly encapsulated Lhuillier’s signature sophistication with pearl embellishments set atop black beads and flower-shaped sequins.
Ava accessorized her outfit with thin hoop earrings shining through her wavy blonde tresses. She then accentuated her blue eyes with smokey eyeshadow and mascara, finishing the look with matching pink lipstick and blush.

Dressing like a red-carpet pro, Ava enveloped her toned pins in sheer black tights before slipping her feet into one of Christian Louboutin’s most iconic shoe silhouettes, the “So Kate.”
Slightly taller than her 5’1″ mother, Ava boosted her 5’2″ height with the celebrity-favorite pumps named after supermodel Kate Moss. Their thin stiletto heels and pointed toes define these satin pumps.

Meanwhile, Reese opted for her signature effortless style, wearing a simple yet glamorous black dress custom-designed by Celine.
The large, asymmetrical bow across the waist gave the otherwise plain-looking column gown some flare. In addition, it featured a corseted strapless bodice for a figure-flattering fit and a thigh-high slit that revealed a glimpse of legs.
Adding glitz to the all-black look, the Fear star wore Bulgari diamonds, including teardrop earrings, a bracelet, and a statement ring.

The Legally Blonde star completed her ensemble with Celine’s “Sharp” strappy sandals in shiny patent calfskin leather, showing off her burgundy red pedicure. These sandals are minimalist and elegant, with a toe strap, a diagonal strap across the foot, an adjustable ankle strap, and a 4.3-inch razor-sharp edge thin heel.
She wore her blonde hair sleek and straight with a center parting tucked behind her ears to showcase her diamond earrings. Like Ava, she opted for smokey makeup with peachy blush and matching lipstick.

Despite losing to Sarah Snook of Succession in the Best Actress in a Drama Series category, Reese said on her Instagram post that she “had a blast” with “my girl,” Ava.

Golden Globes: Deacon Phillippe’s Debut Appearance
Last week, Reese took her son Deacon to the 2024 Golden Globes, marking his first awards show attendance.
The 20-year-old looked dapper in a black tuxedo suit with a crisp white shirt and a black bowtie, while Reese opted for some color in a black velvet Monique Lhuillier gown with a pink off-the-shoulder single strap.
