The Serpentine Summer Party, held at the Serpentine Art Gallery in London’s Kensington Gardens, is an annual star-studded event that raises funds for exhibitions, architecture, education, and live and digital programs, attracting celebrities, art lovers, hotel magnates, and even royalty.

Adding her touch of glamour to the event, tennis star Venus Williams sparkled at the annual gathering showcasing her impeccable style in a little black dress look.

She joined a guest list of A-listers, including Natasha Lyonne, Lori Harvey, Andrew Garfield, Alexa Chung, Ellie Goulding, and Orlando Bloom.

Venus’ choice for the evening was a knee-length black dress from Miu Miu, which featured a flattering square neckline and delicate spaghetti straps.

The fitted dress hugged her curves, adorned with sparkling silver bead embellishments, adding glamour to her ensemble.

Venus kept her accessories to a minimum, opting for hoop earrings that perfectly complemented her chic look.

On her feet, the tall tennis legend slipped into a pair of matching satin pumps, adding an extra sparkle. Her black close-toe slingbacks featured a band across the top of the foot, adorned with shimmering silver crystals.

The pointed-toe slingbacks boasted a thin heel, further elevating her height and adding sophistication to her overall appearance.

But it was Venus’ vibrant hairstyle that stole the show. Sporting dyed pink tips, she elegantly swept her colorful mane to one side, creating a captivating contrast against her black dress and sparkling accessories.

Venus took to Instagram to share another headshot from the event. She penned in the caption, “Up close and personal at the @serpentineuk Just a minute away from the tennis but came back asap.”

Beyond her stylish appearance at the Serpentine Summer Party, Venus Williams is set to return at this year’s Wimbledon Championships, securing a wildcard entry.

Despite her age and a drop to 554 in the world rankings due to limited participation caused by an injury, her remarkable reputation at SW19 earned her a spot in this year’s tournament through the wildcard route.

The 43-year-old tennis veteran recently showcased her class despite playing with a strapped knee and experiencing a scare from a fall.

She triumphed over world No. 67 Camila Giorgi in the first round of the Rothesay Classic before narrowly losing to top 20-ranked Latvian Jelena Ostapenko in the subsequent round – a competitor 17 years her junior.

Venus, the oldest competitor in the Wimbledon field, has an unparalleled record in the game’s history. At SW19, she has amassed 90 wins and 18 losses in singles, boasting an impressive 83% win rate.

In addition to her five Wimbledon titles, she reached four other finals, with only three losses incurred against her younger sister Serena Williams.

The Williams siblings‘ combined achievements at the All England club are even more remarkable, clinching six Wimbledon doubles finals without dropping a set. They emerged victorious in all 14 Grand Slam doubles finals they competed in – an extraordinary feat in its own right.
