A girl as confident as Vanessa Hudgens seems to have everything together, but that’s not always true.
Vanessa ran out of gas on one of the year’s biggest nights: the pre-Creative Emmys. And, to make matters worse, the actress didn’t have her wallet.

Thankfully, Vanessa recovered and showed off her look for the TV Academy’s “Reception for the Nominees for Outstanding Casting” at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Vanessa chose a subtly glittery outfit with a fully embellished from Houghton’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection, which included the brand’s “Bolan” sequin jacket and “Vicente” sequin pants.

The Journey 2: The Mysterious Island actress finished her look with a classic pair of Saint Laurent “Jane” sandals and posed on the red carpet with Julianne Hough.
Julianne Hough, at 5’3″ (160 cm), is taller than Vanessa Hudgens, who stands at 5’1″ (154.9 cm). The height difference between Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens is 2 inches or 5.1 cm.
The average height for adult American women is approximately 5’4″ (162.5 cm). This means both Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens are slightly below the average height for American women, with Julianne being just an inch shorter and Vanessa being 3 inches shorter than the average.

Vanessa hilariously documented her ordeal on Snapchat as she discovered she was out of gas miles and had no wallet.
We’re not sure if this took place before or after the pre-Emmy event, but the actress was thankfully rescued by her friend and stylist shortly after.
