They met for the first time through mutual friends and social media. “We had a bunch of friends in common, and he actually reached out to me on Instagram with a really lame pickup line,” she revealed about meeting her future husband Tyler Stanaland.
Tyler, who had long admired Brittany as his “unattainable crush” after seeing her in Pitch Perfect, eventually followed her Instagram and slid into her DMs with a “dad joke.”
Brittany, who had silently admired him for years, described him as the “best-looking man ever” and admitted she was thrilled when he followed her. Their mutual long-time crushes on each other eventually led to a real-life romance.
