It’s in her blood. You can’t take away the retro from a girl like Taylor Swift. A couple of days ago, the country cutie was spotted sporting another pair of brogues while out and about in a rainy New York City.

We all know how Taylor loves to wear those lace-ups with pretty fit-and-flare dresses, but last Tuesday, she styled the shoes a little differently, that is, with pastel skinnies and a colorful checkered button-down shirt.

The look was classic but fresh with a hint of retro — in other words, very Taylor Swift. And, well, let’s say we couldn’t help but like it.

How do you like Taylor Swift’s latest street style? Certainly worth stealing, right?
If you want the look, here are the details: Taylor’s midi clutch purse is from J. Mendel and costs $1,650. The bubblegum green jeans are from AG Adriano Goldschmied, and the color is dusty mint.

The singer must have forgotten to remove the price tag on the back pocket of her AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans, indicating she was either preoccupied that day or the jeans were loaned to her for promotional purposes.

As for the shirt, it’s from Steven Alan, and you can score it on their website. Taylor’s retro-looking lace-up “Air Violet” shoes are from Cole Haan.

The ‘Air Violet’ features leather uppers, perforated trimming around the shoes, and 3.5-inch-tall heels. Thanks to the Nike Air technology cushioning, they are much like the usual Oxfords but are more comfortable.
If you want to get the “look” of these shoes, you can easily do so by grabbing an alternative from Frye, which is, in fact, a little more retro in design — so you get to channel more of the retro Taylor.
These lace-ups have genuine leather uppers and feature 3.5-inch heels, just like Taylor’s Cole Haan oxfords:
