I’m a sucker for anything sparkly and glamorous, so the 53-year-old wealthy American actress’s ensemble instantly has me hooked. It feels like a modern take on a classic evening gown, and I love how it played with the light.

The Oscar de la Renta gown cascaded to the floor in a dramatic maxi hem, leaving most of her shoes a delightful mystery. But then, the dress surprised us with a daring back slit, offering a glimpse of her legs and hinting at the fabulous footwear choice beneath.
Regarding footwear, I love how Taraji’s stylist, Wayman + Micah, whose impressive clientele includes Tessa Thompson, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Olivia Munn, paired the dress with metallic gold Roger Vivier pumps.

The mirrored gold pumps shimmered in perfect harmony with the gown, while the pointed toes and stiletto heels added edge and height.
I have to say, the accessorizing is equally on point, where she opted for sparkling Reza jewelry. While the Abbott Elementary star kept her neckline bare, opting not to wear a necklace, she added a touch of sparkle with a pair of delicate gold stud earrings.
But the real stars of the show were the matching silver and gold rings, which mirrored the color shift of the dress and perfectly complemented her long, bedazzled nails.
