Sydney Sweeney has been turning heads with her diverse fashion choices, from elegant silky gowns to shimmering sequined underwear.
However, her recent embrace of the classic little black dress (LBD) comes as no surprise, especially considering its perfect alignment with the gothic themes of her upcoming movie, Immaculate.
As she promotes her new horror film in New York City, the 26-year-old American actress demonstrates the timeless appeal of the LBD, showcasing three distinct variations of the wardrobe staple.
In a world where fashion trends come and go, Sydney Sweeney reminds us why the LBD remains an enduring style icon.
Edgy in Black Khaite The Uni Dress at The View
On Wednesday morning, March 20, Sydney Sweeney made a striking appearance at the ABC Studios in Manhattan’s Upper West Side neighborhood, preparing to tape an episode for The View.

She infused the timeless LBD with an edgy twist for this daytime occasion, opting for a $5,400 black leather “The Uni” dress from New York luxury label Khaite’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
It’s not always easy to add allure to an all-black ensemble, but I must admit that Sydney’s choice of silhouette added an element of intrigue that suited her perfectly.
Her ensemble exuded a captivating blend of biker chic and retro flair, crafted from supple leather and featuring a mock-neck top with a sleeveless design.
Accentuating her slender waistline, the White Lotus star tucked her bustier into a paneled ribbed-knit wool drop waist, cinched to emphasize her curves.

What truly catches my eye is the back of Sydney’s ensemble, boasting keyhole slit detailing and glossy silver-tone buttons reminiscent of 1940s glamour.
With a maxi silhouette extending into an ample leather poplin skirt, the dress exuded elegance, while discreet pockets added a touch of functionality.
I admire how the Euphoria actress accented her outfit, adding even more edge with a pair of
From the silver stud earrings to the ring from Méga Jewelry, every accessory complemented her attire seamlessly.
To maintain the black monochrome theme of her ensemble, The Handmaid’s Tale star carried a chic black croc-embossed clutch, completing the ensemble with her signature square-framed Alexander McQueen spike studs sunglasses.
Hairstylist Glen Oropeza styled Sydney’s newly-cut blonde hair in a deep side part and crafted a wispy bob that perfectly framed her features.
Make-up artist Melissa Hernandez applied radiant makeup, including dark mascara to enhance her big blue eyes, pale pink blush for a subtle flush, and a matte mauve lip stain for a polished finish.
Sultry and Romantic in Black Lace Shushu Tong Dress
That same day, Sydney Sweeney added another entry to her LBD diary as she slipped into a new one for a red carpet appearance.
She also graced a live taping of Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, exploring her cinematic journey, notably her shift from the light-hearted rom-com Anyone But You to the chilling horror feature Immaculate.
I admire her attire, which subtly reflected her onscreen personas in both films, infusing a lacy spin into the little black dress from Shushu/Tong’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

She showcased her legs with a teensy halter minidress featuring a square neckline and a miniskirt adorned with three layers of black silky ruffles.
My favorite part of her ensemble was the bodice, which was lined with sheer floral lace embellished with black gems. Sydney layered a knee-length black coat atop her mini dress to combat the cold New York weather.
I appreciate her final touches to her ensemble, opting for see-through Wolford Luxe 9 tights and slipping into ankle-strap pointed-toe Alevi Milano Camilla pumps in black patent leather.

Carrying a black mini Miu Miu Wander Matelasse velvet hobo bag, she completed her look with sleek shades and accessorized with the same silver jewels.
She maintained a minimal glam aesthetic, styling her dirty blond tresses in a sleek bob, while her makeup featured winged eyeliner, a pink-mauve lip, and matching blush.
Chic and Elegant in All-Black Patou Ensemble
A day following her press tour, Sydney Sweeney was spotted heading to AMC Empire 25 Theatres for an in-person introduction of her latest movie.
Although she didn’t choose another little black dress this time, I admire how she remained faithful to the color theme of her recent outings by selecting an all-black ensemble.
She donned a Patou black wool-blend felt jacket for her outing. It has a cropped silhouette and violin-shaped cut-outs at the hem.
I love how Sydney exuded an air of girl boss vibes with her attire, boasting wide lapels, padded shoulders, and art deco-style gold-tone JP-engraved buttons.

The Madame Web star paired her cropped jacket with a matching low-waisted Patou wool-blend felt mini-skirt to showcase her legs, featuring pretty wide box pleats.
I admire how Sydney’s choice to accessorize with black tights served a practical purpose in combating the cold weather and added a touch of allure to her ensemble.
Pairing them with Jimmy Choo Romy black patent pumps featuring pointed toes and slender heels provided a sharp finish to her look. You can buy her shoes on sale on Mytheresa.

Her shoes subtly enhanced her petite height and have been previously spotted on Olivia Munn, Liv Tyler, Ashley Benson, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, among others.
Sydney’s decision to keep her accessories minimal showcased her effortless style. Shielding her eyes with a pair of Miu Miu logo sunglasses and opting for a black shoulder Versace Medusa 95 tote bag for her essentials complemented her chic look perfectly.
She kept her glam understated, with soft pink lips, and allowed her dirty blonde tresses to flow down her back.
Unveiling Sydney Sweeney’s Psychological Horror Journey in Immaculate
Sydney Sweeney has dedicated herself to promoting her latest psychological horror feature, Immaculate, set to premiere in theaters this Friday, March 22.
Directed by Michael Mohan, the film revolves around an American Catholic nun named Cecilia, portrayed by Sydney, who embarks on a transformative journey by joining a remote convent in the Italian countryside.

However, her hopeful beginnings quickly spiral into a nightmarish reality as she uncovers her new home’s sinister secrets and unspeakable horrors.
Sydney’s connection to the project dates back a decade when she first auditioned for the film. She was pivotal in rescuing the project from development limbo through her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films.
Not only did she acquire rights to the script, but she also played a part in casting her fellow White Lotus alum, Simona Tabasco. David Bernard, one of the executive producers of Immaculate, also contributed to the acclaimed series.
