In 2007, Laura Marano appeared in a brief flashback scene as young Becca in the popular coming-of-age teen comedy Superbad. Born on November 29, 1995, in Los Angeles, she was just 11 years old when the film was released on August 17, 2007, and celebrated her 12th birthday later that year.

Her character supposedly sees penis drawings by a young Seth (Casey Margolis), though when filming, Laura Marano just got a blank piece of paper.
“Those weren’t my hands in the movie,” she confirmed when appearing on The Johnjay & Rich Show. “They had to bring in somebody on the crew who had small enough hands,” she added.

While Laura Marano’s role in Superbad was brief, it marked the beginning of a promising career in the entertainment industry. As she grew from a young actress into a style icon, Laura continued to make headlines for her acting roles and bold and playful fashion choices. One such standout moment was her appearance at the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards, where she turned heads with a vibrant and daring ensemble.

Embracing Her Petite Frame With Stylish Heels
Standing at 5ft 1 (154.9 cm), Laura Marano is well aware of her petite stature. She frequently jokes about her height on social media, saying in 2012, “I am super short. I’m like 5’2…on a good day.”
Even years later, in 2021, she continued the joke, reaffirming, “I’m 5’2 on a good day.” At the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards, she embraced the “magical/painful device” of high heels to add a few extra inches, using her quirky lace-up heels to enhance both her height and her playful red carpet look.
