The first-time Oscar nominee served as both the presenter and honorary chair of the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards held in Santa Monica last Sunday.
Before presenting the Best Male Lead award to Red Rocket’s Simon Rex, Kristen Stewart voiced her support for Ukraine and made a strong plea “to stand with the people of Ukraine” amid the Russian invasion.

“Today we are compelled to stand with the people of Ukraine. They are risking their lives to fight for those very things. We stand with the hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing this war, both Ukrainians and those of other ethnicities and nationalities being denied safe harbor.”
“We must never ever take for granted the importance of courage, empathy, and the power of connecting. The power of understanding each other feels really good,” Kristen added.

Wearing yet another Chanel creation, the Spencer star wowed in a two-piece white outfit from the French luxury fashion house’s Métiers d’Art 2022 collection.
She looked radiant in a long-sleeved crepe top that’s hand-embellished with silver sequins all over, teamed with matching straight-leg pants. Adding edge to the pristine design were the thick black racing stripes along the sides and a black tie belt.
Keeping the rest of the look simple, the Twilight star slipped into a pair of black suede pumps from Jimmy Choo.
Available at Mytheresa, the popular “Romy” pumps from the iconic shoe designer feature a timeless silhouette with pointed toes and about 4-inch stiletto heels.

Adding her signature cool edge to the look, Kristen wore a 1950s and 1960s greaser boys-inspired hairstyle, styled by Adir Abergel. He gave the actress a side ponytail with a deep side parting and a wet-looking wavy texture.
“I looked to the 1950s and 1960s greaser boys who had texture and separation in their hair and incorporated those influences into a look that was a classic silhouette of old-school Hollywood hair, Adir told Vogue.
Meanwhile, makeup artist Jill Dempsey defined Kristen’s features with “a bit of smudged under-eye, soft cheeks, and a nude-apricot tone lip shade to complement the sheen of her white outfit.”

In September 2015, Kristen Stewart made a stunning appearance at the 72nd Venice Film Festival for the premiere of the 2015 American science fiction romantic drama film Equals.

The typically grungy actress was all dolled up in a shimmery Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2015 dress, which featured a lace bodice and an asymmetrical hem.

On the red carpet, Kristen cosied up to her co-star, Nicholas Hoult, who plays her love interest in the film.

Of course, in true K-Stew fashion, she slipped off her Louboutins as soon as they were seated.

“I can’t believe I agreed to do it,” Kristen said about agreeing to play Nia in the movie. “I’m terrified of it.”

“Though it’s a movie with a really basic concept, it’s overtly ambitious,” Kristen added.
“In Equals, things go wrong because you can’t deny the humanity in everyone. It’s the most devastating story.”

Earlier that day, Kristen attended a photocall for ‘Equals’ in a much more casual Chanel ensemble.

She posed for the cameras in a custom-made black quilted top with matching shorts, finishing the look with black suede Jimmy Choo “Kayomi” pumps.

With her hair slicked back and minimal makeup, she looked more like the K-Stew we’re used to seeing. However, she did surprisingly show off a bit of her goofy side.
