In June 2012, blonde cutie Emma Stone looked oh-so-chic in all-black while attending a photocall for her new movie, The Amazing Spider-Man, in Berlin.

Praised for her performance as Gwen Stacy in the 2012 superhero film The Amazing Spider-Man and its 2014 sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she turned down a role in the action-comedy film 21 Jump Street to portray Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy in the superhero films.

Other actresses considered for the role of Gwen Stacy include Lily Collins, Ophelia Lovibond, Imogen Poots, Teresa Palmer, Emma Roberts, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Dianna Agron, Georgina Haig, Dominique McElligott, and Mia Wasikowska.
Emma Stone’s casting was confirmed in October 2010. “It’s been an incredible journey for us to watch Emma’s star rise as an actress. She is extraordinarily talented and has a very special on-screen spark that is perfect for this role. Given her history with the studio, casting her in one of our most important franchises is a real thrill,” film producer Matt Tolmach said in a statement.

Principal photography for The Amazing Spider-Man began on December 6, 2010, in Los Angeles, when Emma Stone was 22 years old.
Born on November 6, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona, she turned 23 on November 6, 2011. The film premiered in Tokyo on June 30, 2012.
Her character is killed by Harry Osborn at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. “You just have to lay there. For me, it was the easiest day [laughs]. It was weirder to watch than to film. I couldn’t open my eyes to see Andrew, and then to watch it after the fact. I could feel him, but to see his face, it’s so heartbreaking,” Emma told HuffPost about the death scene in 2014.

To promote the fourth theatrical Spider-Man film produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Entertainment, the Zombieland actress wore a classic short-sleeved number from the Martin Grant Fall 2012 collection styled with a matching black pair of suede pumps from Christian Louboutin.

All-black sounds like a boring outfit, but wait until you take a closer look at the shoes.

Emma’s gold-heeled pumps are Christian Louboutin’s “Bois Dore” platform pumps.
They are wrapped in luxe grosgrain ribbon fabric (1.25-inch platforms included), and the intricately carved wooden 5.25-inch heels are painted in yellow gold.
