In August 2013, Sophie Lowe flaunted her sexy legs at the Disney and ABC Television Critics Association’s (TCA) Summer Press Tour held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
She promoted the American fantasy-drama series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, a spin-off of the prior ABC series Once Upon a Time.

Prior to her casting as Alice, the English-born Australian actress was best known for her work in Australia.
Receiving mixed to positive reviews from critics, the modern adaption of the Lewis Carroll novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass (1871) was canceled after only 13 episodes due to poor ratings.
“I really had hoped that Once Upon a Time in Wonderland would work. It was designed to be what they call ‘gap programming,’ to go in between the regular season, and it probably would have fared better as that,” ABC Studios chief Patrick Moran told THR about the show’s cancelation.

Although she originally auditioned for the role of Alice, Emma Rigby plays the role of Anastasia / Red Queen / White Queen in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.
“They gave [the script] to me as Alice. So I read all the script as Alice,” Emma Rigby told Access Hollywood.
“We did all the screen tests and [executive producers] Eddy [Kitsis] and Adam [Horowitz]… came up to me and were like, ‘It’s funny, ‘cause we could see you as The Red Queen.’ They were like, ‘You’ve got this evil…’” the British actress laughed.

“My family were — and me as well — just absolutely delighted and very grateful for the opportunity,” Emma said about the series that ended after one season.
“I just love acting, so for me, every day, this job, getting to dress up and act, is like my childhood dream come true. … I still think, like ‘Oh, I’m actually living in ‘Wonderland.’ I walked on to set and there was a cake with ‘RQ’ written on it and I was like, ‘Ooh! My cake!’”
“I was like, ‘What? I’m nice!’ They’re like, ‘No, no, no, but there’s something that we think could work as another character within the ‘Wonderland’ series.’”

Born on June 5, 1990, in Sheffield, United Kingdom, Sophie Lowe was 23 years old when the first episode aired on October 10, 2013. She looked effortlessly chic in a sleeveless printed Carven dress.
We love how the cutaway on the shoulders gave the look some edge while her black sandals added a hint of chic modern toughness.

We’ve spotted her Bionda Castana sandal booties once before on Alice Eve, and we pointed out that these would be great with dresses for summer. Indeed, they looked perfect with Sophie Lowe’s dress.

The woven crepe satin sandals feature 1-inch platforms, 4.7-inch block heels, and wide asymmetrical ankle straps.
