Behind the Scenes: Filming Locations and Motorcycle Modifications
The exterior shots of the Team Nami building are not as they appear. They were actually filmed at the Kawasaki Motorcycle Headquarters, which was previously located in Irvine, California.
Interestingly, despite the appearance in the shots, the location did not have a private test track adjacent to the property.
Fans of the “450 Nami” bikes ridden by K.C. and Rowdy may be surprised to learn that they are just dressed-up Honda 450s. The modifications were made to give them a unique appearance for the film.

Steve Howey, who portrays K.C. Carlyle, and Cameron Richardson, who plays Piper Cole, have more in common than just this project.
They also worked together on two episodes of the American comedy-drama show Shameless in 2011, where they played the characters Kevin and Cheryl, respectively.
