Sofia Carson was among the many celebrities who joined the roster for this year’s Global Citizen Festival, which took place last week at the Great Lawn of Central Park in New York City.
Carson belted out her hit song Come Back Home from her Netflix musical romance film Purple Hearts as she ascended the stage wearing an ethereal white gown from Stephane Rolland’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
All eyes (and ears!) were on the 30-year-old singer and actress clad in an asymmetric white wool gazar tunic and a short white organza dress underneath.

Her minidress was embroidered with diamonds along the thigh-skimming hemline. At the same time, the structural statement cape featured a one-shoulder design, a dramatic floor-sweeping extended train, and a diamond-embellished high neck that mimicked a chunky choker.
Wearing a look straight off the French fashion designer’s runway, the multilingual actress teamed the elegant number with matching white opera gloves for a regal finish.
She then completed the exquisite appearance by adding diamond stud earrings and a pair of metallic silver knee-high boots with pointed toes and high heels to give her ensemble additional glimmer.

Sofia also sang a cover of John Lennon’s Imagine, which she later shared on Instagram.
“IMAGINE. Words cannot express the beautiful honor it was to sing Imagine in Central Park…to an endless sea of hearts singing John’s words in unison. Imagining Peace. Imagining Equity,” she captioned her post.
Carson also thanked John Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono, who received co-writing credit for Imagine in 2017. “Thank you Dearest @yokoono and Imagine Peace for your blessing…..As Yoko once said, ‘a dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.’”
Held annually to raise awareness of global issues, including extreme poverty, hunger, and climate change, this year’s concert charity event was headlined by American legendary rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, rap legend Lauryn Hill, and Jungkook of Kpop sensation BTS.

Sofia Carson was spotted leaving the Good Morning America studios in another elegant outfit the day before the festival. This time, she wore a tweed coat dress done in a snakeskin pattern.
The chic monochromatic outerwear, which fell a few inches above her knees, had structured shoulders, front buttoned pockets, a statement bow at the high collar, and fuzzy fringes at the cuffs.
The Descendants star paired it with black tights and towering black heels with pointed toes, elevated thick platforms, and dainty ankle straps.
Sofia wore her shiny, dark tresses down, parted in the middle and cascading down her back. Her eyes were then accentuated with smokey eyeshadow, and a swipe of nude pink lipstick rounded out her polished look.
