The 49-year-old actress made a daring arrival at Cipriani Wall Street as she flashed some flesh in a metallic silver cutout two-piece outfit from Oscar de la Renta’s Resort 2022 collection.
Looking very festive, the sparkling top and midi skirt are crafted from tulle and feature 3D floral and leaf laser-cut designs adorned with silver sequins. She then kept her modesty protected by sporting a nude undergarment.

Adding more shine to the look, Thandiwe accessorized with floating diamond black enamel earrings from Cicada Jewelry. She then elevated her 5’3” height by slipping into a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti “Betty” silver platform pumps.
These two-tone pumps from the Italian shoe designer are made from metallic silver leather with 4.7-inch gold-tone block heels. They also feature about 1.5-inch square platforms and buckle-fastening ankle straps.

When it came to her hair and makeup, the award-winning actress opted for retro styling.
She wore a pop of dark red lip color and coiffed her tresses into a vintage 1940s pin-up ‘do, styled with a silver sequin headband, which she snipped off her skirt.

Thandiwe was at the event to support Camilla Nielsson’s Tribeca-winning documentary, President, in which she’s an executive producer. It is about Zimbabwe’s transition to democracy after Robert Mugabe resigned.
President premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where Camilla won a Special Jury Award for Vérité Filmmaking. Unfortunately, the documentary lost to Flee for Best Documentary Feature at the 2021 Gotham Awards.
