Chloe Lonsdale, the founder and creative director of MiH Jeans, recently collaborated with Shopbop to create the exclusive MiH Resort 2012 Capsule Collection.

An archived photograph of Chloe’s mother, Chekkie Maskell, served as the inspiration for this collection. As Chloe’s mother was the original muse for the brand in the late 60s and 70s, the pieces naturally turned out to have a very strong retro 70s look.

Chloe Lonsdale explains, “it seemed only natural to use her as the inspiration for the Shopbop Capsule Collection, as she was the perfect embodiment of the woman who would wear these styles the best; someone who was effortlessly cool with a natural sense of style.”
Lonsdale shared that her mother’s photograph “even carried through to the exclusive hangtags we created.” Lonsdale continued, “A lot of what we create at MiH stems back to my mum.”
