In May 2016, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna announced that the two were expecting their first child together. Blac’s mother, Shalana Jones-Hunter, also known as Tokyo Toni, was clearly excited as well.

“They told me, ‘You’re about to be a grandma.’ ” Toni continued: “I am super excited for them and I cannot wait for this new addition the family. As well, I’d like to congratulate the other side of the family, the Kardashians and Jenners. Congratulations guys – we’re having a baby!”

Shalana Jones-Hunter, who was born on October 12, 1969, in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, served in the army and had Blac Chyna when she was just 17 years old.
“This guy is fire!!” Toni wrote about Robert Kardashian on Facebook. “He treats Chyna like a Freaking Queen on a Throne.” She added: “I really do enjoy his presence and humor!”

In 2019, she got her own reality television dating game show series, Tokyo Toni’s Finding Love ASAP!, which premiered on November 10, 2019, on Zeus Network.

Shalana Jones-Hunter got the nickname Tokyo Toni after she threatened her famous daughter’s then-boyfriend with her gun.
“See, before I became a godly woman, with my own vices and faults and will – I was a wild a** b*tch. [I] carried glocks and everything. I’m from D.C. – everybody knows this. Miss Toni was the name, but, then my daughter got into an issue, and it turned to Tokyo,” she explained on Instagram.
“‘Cause the n*gga that was f*ckin’ with her when I came down and put that thing in his whole motherf*ckin’ face named Jason and his boy, wavin’ that motherf*cker – he said, ‘Godd*mn! You worse than a motherf*ckin’ storm in Japan!’ I said, ‘Motherf*cker, call me Tokyo.’ And it never went nowhere. ‘Cause everybody that was around, everytime I came to her house – ‘Hey Tokyo!’ And it just stuck, and I been Tokyo ever f*ckin’ since.”

In May 2016, the then 28-year-old model proudly showed off her growing baby bump as she celebrated Memorial Day with her fiancé in Las Vegas.
The couple were guests of honor at Sky Beach Club’s poolside party held inside The Tropicana in Sin City.

Chyna wasn’t letting her pregnancy affect her typically sexy and revealing outfit choices. She stepped out for the event flaunting not just her burgeoning belly, but also her curves and sideboob.
The frock also had a high neck and a very short hem that put her shapely thighs on display, along with a glimpse of her tattoo.
