Pushing on with her singing career, Selena Gomez came out to perform three of her newest songs while flaunting her belly button at Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series held at NYC’s Central Park on Friday morning.
All the criticism about her bindi wearing must’ve finally gotten to Selena and her team because it seems they’ve decided to stop dressing her in Indian-inspired stage costumes.

For yesterday’s performance, Selena was instead outfitted in a very trendy streetwear-style look consisting of a Herve Leger crop top, Diane von Furstenberg leather pants, and Giuseppe Zanotti wedge sneakers.

Now, therein lies the rub: this edgy, urban style is what’s selling among all the hot young stars right now, but we’re not sure if saccharine-sweet Selena Gomez is selling this look.
What do you think — does Selena Gomez have the swagger, confidence, and “cool kid” personality to pull off this crop top, baggy leather pants, and sneakers getup?
Actually, we’re not sure if she can pull off anything from her entire Good Morning America mini-concert. If you can get past the oddly out-of-place “Come and Get It” performance, all the dancing, posturing, and popping-and-locking befitting her streetwear attire begin at 3:45.
As for Selena Gomez’s footwear, they are these Giuseppe Zanotti “Lorenzo” wedge sneakers:
