The event celebrated the remarkable contributions of actors Ben Platt and Scarlett Johansson, recognized for their efforts in causes such as AIDS, cancer, hunger, and inclusion.
In the fashion department, Scarlett made a striking yet understated statement in a matte black gathered jersey dress from Michael Kors’ Spring 2024 collection. It was a minimalist masterpiece featuring a long-sleeved, form-fitted design with a unique twisted bodice.
Styled by Erica Cloud, the 38-year-old movie actress‘ all-black look was accentuated with sheer black polka-dot tights, a black box clutch by Hunting Season, and gold and diamond jewelry.
For her glam, Scarlett sported a sophisticated wavy hairstyle for a chic look and black smoky eye makeup with a glossy pink lip, complemented by a red manicure.

To complete her ensemble, the Ghost World star coordinated the all-black look with glossy black platform heels crafted from high-shine patent leather that featured triangular pointed toes seamlessly transitioning into thick, lofty platform soles.
Thin ankle straps threaded through gold buckle closures secured her shoes, and the sky-high set included 6-inch stilettos that provided Scarlett with a substantial lift.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the highlight of the evening was when Scarlett Johansson took the spotlight as one of the honorees.
In her speech, the Black Widow actress expressed her gratitude for being honored and spoke about her experience working with God’s Love We Deliver.

She praised the organization, emphasizing, “Their mission to alleviate hunger and provide nourishment encompasses so much more than just physical sustenance. It’s about offering support, love, and a sense of dignity during life’s most challenging moments.”
Colin Jost’s wife also opened up about her childhood, sharing how her family struggled to make ends meet, relying on food stamps and government aid.

Scarlett shared, “As a child living in New York, my family was dependent on food stamps, hot lunch programs, and government aid to support our household of four children. And as someone who’s experienced food insecurity firsthand, I understand the devastating impact it has.”
She commended the nonprofit and its volunteers for their vital work, stating, “The struggle to put food on the table can lead to immense hardship and despair and a loss of hope. But organizations like God’s Love We Deliver offer a lifeline to those in need. They go beyond providing meals by connecting individuals with resources, creating community support networks, and advocating for long-term solutions to address systemic issues of poverty.”
