Good news to all SJP fans out there! If you’ve been wanting to get first dibs on some Sarah Jessica Parker heels, now is your chance. The whole collection is finally available for purchase at Nordstrom.
In fact, the actress was spotted at Nordstrom in Manhattan the other day for the launch of the first SJP pop-up shop. For the occasion, Sarah wore a pink pleated dress detailed with mesh sleeves and black lace trimming at the hem.

She accessorized the piece with a single-strand pearl necklace but unexpectedly finished the frock with green crisscross sandals from the namesake line.

In an interview with Net-A-Porter, the American actress, producer, and designer said she has been ordered by her doctor to stop wearing heels. “For ten or so years, I literally ran in heels. I worked 18-hour days and never took them off. I wore beautiful shoes, some better made than others, and never complained,” the actress told the magazine.
I went to a foot doctor and he said, ‘Your foot does things it shouldn’t be able to do. That bone there… You’ve created that bone. It doesn’t belong there.’ The moral of the story is, the chickens are coming home to roost. It’s sad, because my feet took me all over the world, but eventually they were like, ‘You know what, we are really tired, can you just stop – and don’t put cheap shoes on us?’”
Do you know how many hours per day it’s safe to wear high heels?

Oooookeey, let’s try to ignore the pinky toe peeking out of the straps. Do you like the pairing that she put together? Or should she have chosen heels in a more predictable color, like black?

Sarah’s classic ankle-strap sandals are easy and elegant to wear. They’re also very walkable, with heels running at a manageable 3.5 inches tall.
A pair of these SJP “Anna” sandals will set you back about $345 at Nordstrom. That’s not cheap, but considering they’re made by shoe artisans in Italy and are crafted from quality genuine leather (inside and out), the amount may just be worth it.
