Sarah Jessica Parker often blends vintage and contemporary elements in striking hues and patterns that evoke a whimsical yet elegant aesthetic. But at the 42nd Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy, where her husband Matthew Broderick was honored with the Stella della Mole prize, SJP decided to keep things low-key.
Although less impressive than her typical playful style, SJP’s classy ensemble was appropriate for the event, in my opinion. She embraced business chic, dressing in two blazer outfits for the festival’s opening ceremony and dinner celebration.

SJP Exudes Royal Elegance in Gucci Skirt Suit and Windsor Pumps at Torino Film Festival
Sarah Jessica Parker oozed regal sophistication in a dark gray blazer from Gucci’s Cruise 2025 collection at the 42nd Torino Film Festival opening dinner over the weekend.
It was a relatively simple outfit consisting of a gray pencil skirt that hung down to her knees and a double-breasted blazer with flap pockets, tortoiseshell buttons, and a notch lapel. Nevertheless, I love how SJP radiated elegance in the understated ensemble, echoing the expertly tailored, uncomplicated silhouette typical of a royal appearance.
The And Just Like That… actress kept her accessories minimal, enhancing the look’s classy feel. She eschewed all unnecessary jewelry in favor of a few cocktail rings, a black-strapped watch, and a pearl necklace—enough to bring some glitter to the conventional ensemble.

SJP not only wore a Gucci skirt suit but also carried her essentials in a Gucci bag—specifically, the iconic “Jackie 1961” bag. While I would prefer a clutch appropriate for a red-carpet event, her Jackie bag was a classic choice reminiscent of the original style from the 1960s.
It’s made in Italy from black textured leather and has a recognizable curved silhouette. The front has a gold-tone clasp bearing the house’s logo. This classic, celebrity-favorite bag is available at Net-a-Porter for $4,100.

Completing SJP’s corporate chic look was a pair of pumps that I’m sure Carrie Bradshaw will approve of. Nope, they’re not Manolo Blahniks, but they’re inspired by the Spanish fashion designer’s “Hangisi” pumps, the iconic shoes Sarah Jessica wore in the first Sex and the City movie.
SJP wore the “Windsor” from her namesake shoe label, which, unfortunately, closed its doors this year after 10 years in business. The shoes come with a bejeweled buckle and multicolored “Made in Italy” texts on the pointed vamps.
“After 10 colorful years, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker has made the difficult decision to close its doors this fall,” read the statement from the brand. “The SJP Collection team expresses enormous gratitude to all of their loyal customers and supporters, as well as all those they’ve worked alongside.”

SJP Elevates Business Chic with Cropped Blazer, Velvet Skirt, and Dolce & Gabbana Bow Pumps
At the 42nd Torino Film Festival 2024 opening ceremony, Sarah Jessica Parker opted for a polished red carpet-worthy business ensemble, pairing a cropped blazer with a long black velvet skirt.
I adore how the maxi skirt gave the business attire a luxurious touch, with its bold thigh-high slit lending it a hint of seduction.
Underneath the cropped jacket, SJP wore a white Georgette blouse, which she partially unbuttoned to enhance the corporate look’s allure.
Her black-and-white outfit is already stylish and sophisticated, but SJP made it even more striking with a few rings, a long pearl necklace, and statement earrings.

Not only that, but the addition of a sparkling silver bag and heels enhanced the look further. She carried her red-carpet essentials in the “Heiress” bag by American fashion designer Alexander Wang, covered in rhinestone crystals. It also comes with a logo-embroidered flat top handle and a top zip closure.
A medium pouch version of this Alexander Wang bag can be purchased for $520 at Farfetch.

SJP had other glittering accessories that night aside from her bag. She also donned a pair of Dolce and Gabbana heels with a feminine bow adorned with sparkling crystals. I adore how she carefully picked her accessories, ensuring they went together and giving the ensemble a unified appearance.
