He is an accomplished comedian, actor, director, and screenwriter best known for his roles in the comedy films Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Animal, The Hot Chick, 50 First Dates, The Benchwarmers, Necessary Roughness, and Grown Ups.

Adam Sandler’s best friend has been married three times, most recently to his current wife, Patricia Azarcoya, in 2011. Let’s explore how Rob Schneider met his wife, Patricia!
A Look Back at Rob Schneider’s Relationships and Marriages
In addition to his marriages, Rob Schneider has been in relationships with three women: Nicola Tappenden (2004), Jill Barron (1995), and Julia Sweeney (1991-1994). He is also rumored to have hooked up with Alycen Rowse.
Rob was married twice before meeting his third—and current wife–Patricia. Rob’s first marriage was to American actress and model London King.
They married in 1988, and their daughter Tanner Elle Schneider, known professionally as Elle King, was born on July 3, 1989. However, the couple’s marriage was short-lived; they divorced in 1990.
Rob’s second marriage was to Helena Schneider. They dated for about two years and got married in 2002. During the couple’s relationship, the pair appeared at many industry events. However, not much else is known about Helena. They divorced in 2005.

Schneider’s Public Apology and Relationship With Elle King
In September 2024, Elle King addressed her father’s public apology following her criticism of him. One month earlier, Elle had criticized Rob for his comments about drag queens and the LGBTQ+ community and for sending her to a fat camp as a child.
She also described their relationship as “toxic and very silly.” In response, Rob apologized on Tucker Carlson’s show, expressing regret for being an absent father and hoping for forgiveness.
Earning two Grammy Award nominations for her 2015 debut studio album Love Stuff, Elle King is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, television personality, and actress.
Her second studio album, Shake the Spirit, was released in 2018 and received positive reviews from critics.

“I was born out of a Vegas marriage: My parents got married three days after they met,” Elle told Billboard back in 2015.
“Soon as I was 18, I took on my mom’s last name because she raised me, and I wanted to be my own person,” the blues-pop singer added.
Meet Patricia Azarcoya Schneider: Rob Schneider’s Third Wife
Patricia Maya Schneider, born Patricia Azarcoya Arce on March 6, 1988, in Monterrey, Mexico, is of Filipino descent. While she has maintained privacy about her early life, her professional career as a TV producer has gained significant attention.
Rob Schneider’s mother, Pilar Schneider, is also half-Filipino. Pilar’s mother married Rob’s grandfather, a white American army private, while he was stationed in the Philippines. Aged 91, Pilar Schneider died in January 2021 at her home in Pacifica, California.
“Pilar spoke often of joining her beloved husband of 39 years, my lovely father Marvin Schneider,” Rob wrote in a statement after the death of his mother. “That day has come for them to be together. I am proud to be able to say that I am the son of Pilar Monroe Schneider.”

“I would have to say though, you know, you never see any Asian homeless people. They’re all working, they’re family, they’re taking care of each other. I remember like in my house, Filipinos were coming through, and literally, sleeping in the same bed with me until they get their own place,” Rob said in an interview with The Philippine Star in 2012.
“We had people coming in, like relatives from Manila, from Baguio, coming straight in, staying in the house, getting a place. You know, they’re hardworking people, but family is the most important thing to them.”
Patricia got her start in Hollywood in 2007 when she produced a TV series called El Monchis. After that, she continued to work as a producer on films like CuéntameLove and Guerra De Chistes.
The Story of How Rob Met Patricia: A Hollywood Romance
The couple met in 2007 on a show Patricia was producing. Although they have a 25-year age difference, this didn’t stop them from taking an interest in one another. Shortly after they met, Patricia and Rob began dating.

Rob spoke about his first date with Patricia on the Howard Stern Show, where he said that Patricia would only go on a date if her mom could come, “I see Patricia and then I see a mother. And I go ‘OK … so reservations for three’…I knew right away the only way in was through the mother. I’m still working with the mom. We’ve been married eight years, I’m still working with mom.”
The lovebirds got married on April 23, 2011, in Beverly Hills. It was Patricia’s first marriage and Rob’s third. Luckily, the third time’s a charm.
“Patricia and I were surrounded by our closest friends and family; it was the happiest day of my life,” Rob said in a statement. “We had a great time at the wedding and are looking forward to our honeymoon.”
Rob and Patricia’s Growing Family: Welcoming Their Daughters
In 2012, Rob Schneider and his partner welcomed their first child, a beautiful daughter named Miranda Scarlett Schneider, into the world. Four years later, in 2016, they were blessed with their second daughter, Madeline Robbie Schneider.
“My whole childhood, my dad was a workaholic. We both have grown up a lot. And you realize what’s important,” Elle King told People about reconnecting with her dad after her half-sisters were born.
“I wanted my sisters to have good memories of me from their childhood when they grew. Family really is so important. So, through that, me just kind of showing up and trying to be good for them, really made it easy because there were no bad motives. When it’s about the kids, the bulls—kind of goes away. I love him,” she added.
“Honestly, he’s probably my biggest supporter,” King revealed. “Like, every other day I’ll get texts in all caps of like, ‘Your record’s gonna change the world! I can’t wait for your fans to hear what you’ve made! I love you! I’m so proud of you!’ And that’s a beautiful, wonderful thing,” Elle said about her dad.
Rob and Patricia’s Professional Partnership: Balancing Work and Family
Rob and Patricia have worked together on several shows, including the reality TV series Real Rob. Regarding their writing process, the couple said that although they write the series together, they don’t write simultaneously. “We’re too stubborn,” Patricia told Howard Stern.
“This lady saved me in every way a woman can save a guy,” Rob told the radio personality about how much his wife means to him.

“We did a show on CBS that I thought was just not real at all and (network executives) didn’t have a lot of confidence in. They kept questioning it, and recast it once. They didn’t want to have an actress who pretended to sound like she was Mexican, so they got a girl from Spain who was very nice, but didn’t either look or sound Mexican. I said, ‘Well, this isn’t very real. So if I ever do a show again, let’s just do it ourselves and we’ll call it Real Rob.’ So we did it ourselves completely, and Netflix bought it after watching five minutes of it. It’s been fun—very liberating. I’ve enjoyed it a lot,” Rob told Las Vegas Magazine about creating the faux reality show.
Their most recent endeavor is a podcast they host together called See What Happens. The podcast covers “show business, their contrasting parenting methods, jokes, good food, philosophy, and then some.”
What’s Next for Rob and Patricia? Future Plans and Projects
Rob and Patricia’s bond is stronger than ever, from family endeavors to working relationships. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the couple.
