Rita Ora and Chloe Sevigny got a “Spy vs. Spy” fashion battle going in their respective black and white outfits at last night’s Montblanc Meisterstück Le Petit Prince event in NYC. Who do you think between the two style mavens pushed the envelope further? Read on.
Rita Ora made a bold fashion choice in a Vera Wang Fall 2018 black gown that featured an armor-inspired bodice and peplum. She complemented her structured look with an impeccably made-up face, a neat, twisted updo and dazzling MontBlanc dangling earrings. The 27-year-old British singer finished with a simple, black pair of Gianvito Rossi “Jaime” elastic-ankle-strap sandals ($745 at Neiman Marcus).
Is it just us, or do you also find the armpit cutouts with Rita’s tattoos peeking out distracting?

In a sharp contrast to Rita’s angular, black look, Chloe Sevigny went for a Simone Rocha Spring 2018 white-satin ruffled dress that was so shapeless, it reminded us of a pillowcase. The 43-year-old actress paired her sleepwear-inspired dress with a white bow in her low ponytail and a black satin handbag. She rounded out her look with the popular Balenciaga “Knife” satin mules ($750 at Barneys New York) that have prompted a mass obsession among us shoe lovers.
