After Tyra Banks made her big departure from “America’s Next Top Model,” the network brought Rita Ora in to fill her shoes. Rita insists, however, that it wasn’t about filling in shoes but rather continuing a legacy. In fact, Tyra Banks herself gave Rita some words of advice.
Rita launched her first season of “America’s Next Top Model” at Vandal in New York. The new set of judges included Ashley Graham, Drew Elliott and Law Roach.

Rita wore the “San Jacinto” sequined dress by Johanna Ortiz. The dress had a spaghetti strap on one side and oversized ruffles on the other, dipping down at the neckline to show off a bit of cleavage. Rita paired her dress with the Gianvito Rossi “Carlyle” sandals.
The dress itself is pretty but it’s probably not what we would pick out for Rita. It bunched up at the wrong places, hiding Rita’s curves instead of enhancing them.

Tyra told Rita that being a host meant being a role model to the girls, and representing what they wanted to win. Rita was advised to be open about what she does everyday — designing, singing, making music — to inspire the ladies creatively.
Rita also shared that she wanted to be “a spokesperson for women in general.”
