Regina King was honored with the Women Power Award at the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival last week.
Clad in a two-piece white ensemble, the veteran actress showcased her toned abs and legs in a sleeveless top that’s knotted at the waist and a matching maxi skirt with a hip-high slit and a miniskirt layer underneath.

The If Beale Street Could Talk actress accessorized with diamond hoop earrings, a bracelet, and several rings.
She carried a Louis Vuitton monogram round purse and slipped her feet into a pair of nude sandals with strappy silver ankle straps.
Beauty-wise, King styled her orange and black braids in a high ponytail and wore neutral makeup with winged eyeliner and a swipe of lip gloss.

This marks her first public appearance since the death of her only son, Ian Alexander Jr., in January, just two days after his 26th birthday. His death was ruled a suicide by the Los Angeles County Coroner.
“Our family is devastated at the deepest level by the loss of Ian,” King said in a statement sent to People.
“He is such a bright light who cared so deeply about the happiness of others. Our family asks for respectful consideration during this private time. Thank you.”

She also spoke about the deep love she had for her son in a 2011 interview with CNN.
“I get emotional because my son is an amazing young man, and it took me to be a mother for me to realize how incredible of a woman [my mother] is,” King said.
“You don’t know what unconditional love is. You may say you do, but if you don’t have a child, you don’t know what that is. But when you experience it, it is the most fulfilling ever. So, that is the greatest part about me. Being a mom to Ian.”

In honor of his mom’s 50th birthday in 2021, Ian paid tribute to the Academy Award-winning actress on Instagram, writing: “Happy birthday to my co, so extremely proud of you and inspired by your love, artistry, and gangsta! To be able to watch you take this lifetime by its neck and make it yours is something i will forever be grateful for.”
“But to have you as my mother is the greatest gift I could ask for. To be all that you are while always having the time to be there, love and support me unconditionally is truly remarkable. The whole marvel universe ain’t got s— on you, your the real superhero! Love you mom! This day and everyday YO DAY!!”
Regina shared her son with her ex-husband Ian Alexander Sr., a record producer and the former vice president of Warner Bros.

At one point, King was pictured posing alongside Naomi Harris, who flew to Santa Margherita Ligure in Italy for the 5th Edition of Filming Italy Sardegna Festival.
And before heading back home to the UK, the Pirates of the Caribbean actress was awarded the Filming Italy Achievement Award.

The Moonlight actress was dressed to impress in a draped tulle silk gown that’s currently on sale for $3,045 (from $6,090) at Farfetch.
It’s made of organic chiffon and features a light and airy silhouette with jeweled inserts that frame the halter neckline.
Done in a color-blocked design, the silky number also features braiding, a keyhole detail, a bow that’s tied on the back, and a floor-length hem.

For her beauty look, Peter Legler’s longtime partner wore her long, braided locks down, framing her naturally made-up face. She was glowing with a hint of makeup that included a swipe of neutral lipstick.
Adding some bling to the look, the Marvel villain stacked several gold bangles on her wrist and added a single statement ring.
