Reese Witherspoon’s style can be boring at times; she usually wears black midi dresses or pencil skirts, as if she has nothing else in her closet. But while she always exudes elegance in her black outfits, I still want to see more from her.
Luckily, she went all out for the press tour of her latest movie, You’re Cordially Invited. Reese looked fierce in a red suit for her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show and oozed power in a blue suit on Good Morning America. At the New York screening of the film, she embraced her love of black, but I like that she chose a stylish peplum outfit rather than her typical corporate wear.
And if Reese Witherspoon’s press tour outfits are any indication, I would love to get a ticket to the movie.

You’re Cordially Invited: Reese Witherspoon & Will Ferrell’s Hilarious Wedding Showdown
You’re Cordially invited marks Reese and Will Ferrell’s first movie together. With Ferrell in it, you can tell it’s a comedy. In the rom-com, a loving father, Jim (Will Ferrell), prepares for her daughter Jenni’s wedding day, while Margot (Reese Witherspoon), a wedding planner, meticulously organizes her sister’s dream wedding.
However, things take a turn for the worse when they find out they reserved the same spot. A series of humorous incidents and unexpected revelations ensue as they are compelled to share the venue.

Released on January 30 on Amazon Prime Video, the film received mixed reviews from critics, with Rotten Tomatoes’ critic consensus saying, “While Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon work well together as catty combatants, tired set-pieces and a misjudged romantic subplot make this an invitation you can file under ‘maybe.”
Reese Witherspoon Slays in a Bold Blue Victoria Beckham Suit & Louboutin Pumps
Reese showed off her penchant for tailoring when she showed up on the Good Morning America set wearing a Victoria Beckham three-piece suit. A far cry from her typical look, she opted for blue instead of her go-to black. And I must say, I adore the freshness it gives her.
Reese donned the English fashion designer’s $1,290 Patch Pocket Jacket in Bluebell, which was expertly tailored without appearing too formal thanks to its laid-back vibe. It’s cut from a recycled wool blend and features a streamlined silhouette with a two-button single-breasted closure, an internal chest pocket, and front patch pockets with folded flaps.
Reese paired it with the matching $750 “Alina” trousers. A classic favorite from the Victoria Beckham archives, these pants were showcased in an enchanting Bluebell color for the Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
They’re skillfully made of recycled fluid wool and have a fitted high waist that pools into a wide leg. Patch pocket details on the front and back provide visual interest reminiscent of the 1970s.

Underneath the blue blazer, Reese wore an airy lavender shirt, lending the power suit a hint of softness. The two colors complement each other perfectly, giving off an air of refinement and sophistication.
I love how Witherspoon added warmth to the blue suit’s spring tranquility and freshness with her neutral accessories.
She draped the Max Mara “Manuela” camel coat over her shoulders, which added a classic touch to the contemporary tailoring. Max Mara’s wrap coats are made from the finest materials, and Reese’s is made of light brown camel hair, keeping her toasty as she greets fans outside the studio. This timeless coat is well worth its price tag of $3,321, available at Mytheresa.

A pair of Tiffany & Co. earrings gave Reese’s look a dash of glitter, while a brown Celine Camille 16 Soft bag held her essentials in style. Inspired by the Cabas 16 Soft, the $2,950 Camille 16 Soft is the latest addition to the house’s iconic 16 Soft line.
It’s made of elegant calfskin leather that is comfortable to the touch and has a glossy finish. Its clean lines create its slim hobo shape, finished with a leather flap that folds in line with the house’s iconic jewel-shaped turn-lock closure.
Completing her polished and sophisticated look, Reese slipped her feet into Christian Louboutin’s “Condora Riviera” pumps in the same beige shade as her chic outerwear. You can shop these stunning pumps now at Mytheresa and Nordstrom.

They are made from Lionne brown plush veau velour, a high-end fabric in Louboutin footwear. I think they’re sexy, with a bold low-cut vamp that exposes the foot, a bird’s-beak-like pointy toe, and a 4-inch slanted heel that makes Reese appear taller. A delicate ankle strap secures them to the foot.

Reese Witherspoon’s affinity for Christian Louboutin’s iconic designs has been evident throughout her illustrious career. Notably, at the Los Angeles premiere of Home Again, she turned heads in a Roland Mouret dress paired with striking “Colankle” sandals, showcasing her impeccable style.
Similarly, during the Sing premiere, Reese dazzled in an Elie Saab mini dress, complemented by elegant “Uptown” pumps, highlighting her consistent choice of Louboutin’s timeless pieces.
Reese Witherspoon Revives Peplum in a Chic Black Louis Vuitton Set & Satin Heels
Reese opted for a two-piece black Louis Vuitton ensemble at the New York premiere of her latest film, embracing her love of understated luxury. But unlike her typically boring, straightforward black skirt suits, she donned one with a playful and feminine element.
Bringing back the peplum trend, which was huge in the 2010s, Reese’s outfit includes a sophisticated collarless jacket with a ruffled peplum waist. I love how it adds a flirtatious feminine touch to the design without detracting from the elegance of the smooth satin fabric.
A gold-tone zip down the center front and intricate gold buttons at the chest pockets add to the blazer’s sophisticated and commanding appearance.
Reese paired the classy jacket with a matching mini skirt featuring a tiered ruffled detail that ends above her knees, allowing her to parade her toned legs.

Her longtime stylist, Petra Flannery, styled the rather somber look with whimsical accessories by Taffin, a New York City-based high-jewelry house renowned for using unconventional materials to produce cutting-edge jewelry designs.
Reese looked beautiful with her muted berry lipstick and blown-out waves. She accessorized with a pair of clear ear pendants and a crystal ring with a black band, adding a dash of playful glitter to her all-black ensemble.
The American actress completed her head-to-toe black look with classic black satin pumps. These straightforward pumps have the characteristics of a timeless pump, such as stiletto heels and pointy toes.
A classic pointy pump is always a timeless choice. Still, a more whimsical design—perhaps one with an elegant bow or embellished detail—would have added a playful touch and elevated Reese’s ensemble, preventing it from feeling too predictable.

Reese Witherspoon’s footwear choices often reflect her classic style, yet she occasionally embraces bolder designs. For instance, she has been spotted wearing pink Saint Laurent ‘Paris’ pumps, adding a vibrant touch to her ensembles.
Casual Yet Chic: Reese Witherspoon Nails Off-Duty Style in Denim & Boots
Before attending a junket for You’re Cordially Invited in Midtown Manhattan, Reese Witherspoon was pictured bare-faced with her blonde tresses casually pulled back into a ponytail.
Her choice of clothing matched her relaxed appearance. Reese wore a black top underneath a black wool coat with straight-leg jeans, creating a chic and comfortable everyday outfit that we can easily replicate.

Her accessories, however, elevated her appearance, striking a balance between style and functionality.
Instead of wearing ornate jewelry, she chose a gold watch with a white band. She then kept her necessities in a black leather Fendi Peekaboo bag featuring a wide crossbody strap with a monogram logo jacquard on one side and black leather on the other.
Reese also wore oval-shaped black sunglasses to give the casual ensemble a hint of star power.
A pair of black leather boots with pointed toes and stacked wooden block heels rounded out her look. I like how they provide style and height without compromising comfort.

Reese Witherspoon’s recent ensemble masterfully combines style and practicality, echoing fashion choices seen among other celebrities. For instance, Hilary Duff was spotted pairing dark skinny jeans with khaki cone-heel booties, demonstrating how pointed-toe boots can elevate a casual look.
Similarly, Gisele Bündchen showcased a chic combination by pairing a flowy denim skirt with knee-high Celine boots featuring pointed toes, adding a sophisticated touch to her outfit.
Red Hot! Reese Witherspoon Turns Heads in Lafayette 148 & Carolina Herrera Heels
For her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Reese wore a fiery red ensemble from American fashion house Lafayette 148, known for its expertly crafted clothing designed for modern, sophisticated women.
She was dressed in the brand’s $698 Silk Georgette Button Blouse, which has clean lines and a relaxed silhouette, and the $598 Crepe Clinton straight-leg pants, made from the house’s finesse crepe fabric.
Unfortunately, we didn’t see the combination in its full glory as Reese left the studio wearing a black Max Mara coat on top.

Luckily, her accessories were visible. I adore her styling the red ensemble with gold accessories to create a sophisticated look.
The richness of her collarbone gold chain necklace and crystal-encrusted gold hoop earrings complement the brightness of her classic red co-ords, resulting in a cohesive and chic look.
Reese’s $458 cherry red Cuyana “Ola” bag adds a playful touch to the ensemble without detracting from its overall style. It’s made from smooth Italian leather and has a wavy silhouette that matches its artistic wavy gold handle.
Witherspoon tied the look with burgundy pumps by Carolina Herrera. They are made of leather with tonal suede detailing, pointed toes with cutouts, T-bar straps, and ankle straps with metallic Initials Insignia buckle fastenings.

These pumps are part of the Initials Insignia collection inspired by Carolina Herrera’s anniversary bracelet, featuring the designer’s 3D initials.
Reese Witherspoon’s recent choice of Carolina Herrera heels underscores her penchant for timeless elegance. This mirrors the sophisticated selections of other celebrities, such as Demi Moore, who channeled vintage glamour in an all-black Carolina Herrera ensemble, and Shakira, who made a dramatic Met Gala debut in a striking Carolina Herrera gown paired with towering platform sandals.
