The glamour of Hollywood returned with a bang as the Screen Actors Guild strike concluded on November 9, paving the way for red carpets to be rolled out again.
Against the backdrop of a star-studded Monday evening in Los Angeles, the city hosted the premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, a prequel to Suzanne Collins’ acclaimed novels.
After making a fiery appearance in Berlin, Rachel Zegler, who embodies the character Lucy Gray Baird in the film, radiated elegance at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
Celebrated for her versatile style, she graced the occasion in a mesmerizing Elie Saab creation from the Lebanese fashion designer’s Fall 2023 Haute Couture collection, seamlessly returning to her favorite dreamy aesthetic.

The 22-year-old actress donned a sheer taupe gown, delicately held by straps, featuring a plunging V-neck cut that gracefully accentuated her silhouette and complemented her olive skin tone.
Embroidered pearls and micro crystals intricately adorned the flowing silk satin gown, creating a textural masterpiece that cascaded down towards her lower waist, producing a theatrical effect.
The semi-sheer fabric elegantly enveloped her upper arms, resembling a matching shawl that extended to drape around the back of her head in a hood-like fashion.
Concealed beneath the fabric, which cascaded down and pooled around her feet, Zegler complemented this ethereal ensemble with open-toed, gleaming silver heels fastened by a slender ankle strap.

Makeup artist Allan Avendaño crafted a glamorous look featuring light bronze eyeshadow, black winged liner, and nude-colored glossy lipstick.
Hairdresser Marissa Marino elegantly styled the Shazam! Fury of the Gods actress’ brunette locks parted and fell in effortless curls past her shoulders, completing the ethereal transformation.

Zegler complemented her attire with white-and-yellow diamond drop earrings and a snake-themed diamond ring from Chopard.
Her raven hair cascaded in long, loose curls, with the top section artfully pinned straight back. She chose a glamorous look and showcased a smoky winged liner and peachy lips.

The highly anticipated film is set to officially premiere in theaters on Friday, November 17, serving as a prequel to The Hunger Games trilogy.
In an exclusive interview with People at the London premiere, Rachel Zegler, a self-proclaimed avid franchise fan, reminisced about her initial encounter with The Hunger Games.
“I went with my sister and my mom to the theater to see it. The woman next to my sister had never read the books or seen the film before, and when the mutts came out, she started screaming, ‘What’s gonna happen next?’” Zegler recalled, emphasizing that the experience “is ingrained in my memory forever.”
She expressed her hopes for the prequel and stated, “I hope people in our theaters do it as well.”
