Shailene Woodley graced the premiere of Insurgent, the latest installment of the Divergent saga, at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City on Monday.
Despite being the top-billed star in the movie, the 23-year-old opted for a more subdued, minimalistic aesthetic for the event.

She donned a Ralph Lauren Fall 2015 tuxedo dress with a plunging neckline and a dangerously high slit. Her pulled-back ponytail, clean makeup, and gold jewelry kept within the simple-yet-streamlined theme of her look.

Nowadays, it seems like a Shailene Woodley movie premiere wouldn’t be a Shailene Woodley movie premiere if the actress didn’t go barefoot, and that’s exactly what she did right after the evening’s proceedings. She ditched her beautiful lace-covered Stuart Weitzman “Queen” pumps and exposed her feet to the cold New York street pavement.
To be fair to Shai, it did seem like she at least waited until the end of the movie premiere this time, unlike at the Divergent Berlin premiere and The Spectacular Now premiere where she went barefoot right on the red carpet and in front of the cameras.
Stuart Weitzman themselves have identified Shailene Woodley’s shoes as their “Queen” pumps, but the lace overlay on the “Bowright” peep-toe pumps look to be more similar to Shai’s own pair.
