Priyanka Chopra Jonas is making headlines for her poorly received spy series Citadel, which recently dropped on April 28th. However, she’s also gaining attention for her impeccable fashion sense.

In the past few weeks, the Indian actress has rocked a red-hot Vivienne Westwood creation in London, nailed the green goddess vibe in Rome wearing Valentino, and turned heads in a vibrant fuchsia silk-satin gown by Roksanda.

Most recently, on Thursday, Priyanka arrived at NBC Studios in New York City for an appearance on The Today Show, stunning fans with her bright red crop top with an elegant high neck, matched with a fishtail skirt from cult label Jean Patou’s Fall 2023 collection.

Styled by Rebecca Corbin Murray, the outfit featured a ruffled hem and showcased the 40-year-old actress’ incredible figure in the fitted number.

Nick Jonas’ older wife completed the look with coordinating stiletto-heeled boots, which added to her glamorous appearance.

Priyanka opted for a chic and polished look, styling her sleek brunette hair with gentle curls at the ends. Her makeup was subtle, enhancing her natural beauty.

The Quantico star elevated her appearance by layering a long leather trench coat with a faux fur collar trim over her first red outfit and complementing the ensemble with sunglasses to shield her eyes.

Priyanka’s appearance on The Today Show was just one of two looks she sported that day. Later, she slipped into a statement geometric monochrome Balmain jumpsuit featuring a print design.

The Baywatch actress opted for a different hairstyle, pulling back her brunette tresses into a stunning updo while letting two sections fall gracefully to frame her face.

During a recent interview with Elle Magazine, Priyanka opened up about her experience working with Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden, her love interest in Citadel. Despite only recently airing, the show has already been renewed for a second season.

When asked about her experience working with Richard, Malti Marie’s mom described herself as a meticulous preparer, saying, “I’m a very frenetic, neurotic prep person. I need to think about my character. I need to ask questions. I need to sit with the writers. I need to figure her out, so when I come to set, I just kind of play.”

Richard shared the same level of preparation, which helped them establish a sense of trust with each other. Priyanka noted, “We had a sense of trust with each other because we knew that we cared.”

Priyanka expressed her love for playing an ass-kicking character, particularly in a traditionally male-dominated genre.

She said it’s “fun to be doing the ass-kicking and the cool lines and walking away from an explosion” and that she’s always wanted to do that.

Priyanka embraces challenges, and her role in the Citadel series was no exception. She describes it as the most challenging role, but she likes it that way.

She elaborated, “At this point in my career, ’I’m looking for heavy lifts. I’m looking for challenges. I’ve learned enough about the craft and about the job that I want to flex my muscles, and I want to find thoughts that I can sink my teeth into. Citadel was definitely that.”

Citadel was the first project for which Priyanka was ever paid equally, and she believes this is due to the presence of females in positions of power in the industry.

She shared, “In my 23-year career, it’s the first time I got parity, and that happened, I think, because the head executive of Amazon Studios is a female. When we have females in positions of power and positions of decision-making, they make space for other females. You see female actors banding together and producing stuff together and saying, ‘If the studios are not going to do it, we’re going to do it for ourselves.’”

Priyanka added, “I’ve done it for myself, and I’ve worked with females behind the camera and in front of the camera, and it’s wonderful that we’re not being pitted against each other. Or at least we’ve realized that that’s what was happening to us.”
