“Catherine and I are delighted to be here with you tonight in Belize at the beginning of our first official visit to the Caribbean. You could not have chosen a more beautiful and evocative setting, here at Cahal Pech,” William said in his speech.
“I am honored to convey the very warmest wishes from my grandmother, The Queen of Belize, on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee. She always speaks so fondly of her visits to Belize, which of course included a memorable stop here at Cahal Pech in 1994,” he added.
Kate is known for her impeccable style and grace, and her outfit for this event was no different.
The sequined pink dress was floor-length and custom-designed by Susie Cave’s The Vampire’s Wife. It featured ruffled shoulders and short sleeves which complimented Kate’s slender figure.

The princess-esc dress quickly went viral online, as her iconic outfits usually do.
The Duchess accessorised with a simple white clutch and gold, dangling earrings by O’nitaa. For shoes, Kate wore luxurious Jimmy Choo 4-inch stiletto heels that were hidden underneath her glittering gown.
After her appearance in the gown, searches for “ruffle dress” increased by almost 300% according to Google Trends.
The Vampire’s Wife, which was founded by Susie Cave and her business partner Alex Adamson in 2014, also saw a significant increase in searches after she wore their design.
