Kendall Jenner, rumored to have had plastic surgery to improve her looks, made her debut walk for Christian Dior after her very modest start on the Sherri Hill runway in 2011.

Five years later, the then 20-year-old was making waves on the runways of all the big names in the fashion industry.

Addressing Plastic Surgery Rumors

Kendall denied having had a nose job and lip injections on her app in 2017, saying that her face was all-natural.

“It’s all so exhausting. As a model, why would I have my face reconstructed? It doesn’t even make sense,” she wrote on the app that closed down later the same year. “It’s crazy because sometimes I feel like people just want me to lose.”

While admitting to practicing her iconic “over-lining” the lips strategy that makes her lips appear fuller than they are, Kendall denied she’s had artificial help. Her sister Kylie is rumored to have had her first plastic surgery when she was 17 years old.

The Power of Makeup and Social Media Speculation

“When I deleted my Instagram back in November, people were saying, ‘Kendall deleted her account to have full facial reconstruction,'” she added.

“I think they might have been referencing the day Kylie and I did a Livestream for our book. We had to hurry, so I let Ky do my face. I never wear lip liner or lipstick unless it’s the occasional obvious red—and when I say never, I mean even when I’m doing a nude lip, it’s basically just gloss!”

“Anyway, I left all of the makeup on because we were so rushed and I went out and did my thing. I LOVED my makeup. I never say this, but I just felt so pretty. All of a sudden, photos of us came out with headlines like, ‘OMG Kendall got her lips done and got full facial reconstruction—look at her cheekbones, look at her nose!’ I was like, this is CRAZY. I didn’t even address it at the time. Because if I address it, people are going to be like ‘Oh, so she’s defending herself—she must be guilty.’ Kylie saw it all unfold and felt bad, so she went on Snapchat and took the blame,” Kendall wrote.

“People forget that they’re talking about real people who have real feelings and actually live their everyday lives (for the most part) just like everyone else,” she concluded.

Kendall’s Journey of Self-Esteem and Skincare Struggles

“Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem,” Kendall revealed about her skincare battle on her blog in 2015.

“I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face. Sure, I had crushes in high school, but I wouldn’t even think about looking at guys.”

Comparisons with Her Sisters and Body Image Reflections

“My sisters are a lot curvier than me,” Kendall told The Telegraph about her sisters having bigger breasts than her.

“They have boobs and I don’t have boobs. Growing up being this little twiggy girl, I saw my sisters and always thought, ‘Oh no am I supposed to be more sexy like them?’”

Analyzing Kendall’s Evolving Look

In a YouTube video shared in February 2020, celebrity commentator Lorry Hill argues that Kendall “had a nose sometime between 2012 and 2013” and that her “nasal bones were broken and brought back together in a more narrow way.”

She also believes Kendall has had small cheek implants, an eyebrow lift, and buccal fat removal.

Stepping Out at Paris Fashion Week

In March 2016, Kendall was photographed leaving the Dior show at the Paris Fashion Week with her momager, Kris Jenner, to pop by the Elie Saab showroom.

Proud of her height, the tequila entrepreneur popped over at the Elie Saab showroom, presumably for her final fittings, since she was set to walk in the show the next day.

The young model styled her black lipstick runway look with sunglasses, a top-handle bag from Christian Dior, and her favorite pair of boots: the “Amele” by Sandro. She wore the same boots at LAX earlier in the year.
