The regal, polished pair attended the 94th Academy Awards on March 27th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California.
On the red carpet, Cruz wore an exquisitely crafted, custom black Chanel taffeta gown which featured an open back and displayed dainty buttons up the front and intricate embroidered detailing.
It was inspired by the Fall 2020 Chanel Haute Couture collection featuring 8,000 embroidered pieces.
According to Chanel, the dress required over 680 hours of work before it was considered to be complete. The Chanel dress displayed checkered embroidery and a silver metallic necktie.

Cruz accessorized her look with a Chanel bag, matching Chanel shoes, and white gold jewelry including rings and diamond earrings. For her makeup look, Cruz wore a stunning bronze, smoky eye, that was effortlessly paired with a glossy nude lip.
Her hairstyle featured an elegant, deep side part with loose, natural-looking curls that were neatly tucked in place behind her left ear. Bardem looked fresh and handsome in his monochromatic ensemble that matched that of his beautiful wife.
He wore an elegant, all-black, tuxedo paired with a black bowtie. Both Bardem and Cruz were nominated for their own respective awards in the 2022 Oscars ceremony.
