Paris Hilton and Carter Reum’s first child, Phoenix, just turned one, and the couple celebrated the occasion by throwing a lavish “Sliving Under the Sea”-themed party at their Los Angeles home on Saturday.
Sliving, coined by Hilton in 2019, is a portmanteau of “slaying” and “living your best life.” And in true Hilton style, the socialite and businesswoman transformed their Los Angeles backyard into a whimsical underwater scene, complete with an assortment of balloons in vibrant aquatic colors.

Paris and Carter welcomed their son into the world in January 2023 through surrogacy, more than a year after getting married in November 2021. The couple also share a daughter, London Marilyn, who was born in November 2023 via surrogacy.
A Lavish Sliving Under the Sea Party
Sharing several pictures from the occasion, Paris Hilton expressed her gratitude to Balloon and Paper for bringing her “Sliving Under The Sea” theme to life.
Enormous arches were brimming with balloons of various sizes in blue, red, and orange hues and balloons shaped like different marine animals, including a gigantic whale.
To further enhance the party’s aquatic theme, glittering tinsel backdrops, inflatable coral and starfish, large seashells, and Greek column standees were also added. Disney’s The Little Mermaid soundtrack was also played in the background.

The extravagance didn’t end there; Paris Hilton even brought a ball pit and a petting zoo to her backyard, incorporating some land animals, including bunnies, goats, chickens, ducks, and sheep, into the underwater theme.
With a net worth of $300 million, it’s not shocking that Hilton could afford a mythical creature for her son’s birthday. A unicorn—more like a pony dressed as a unicorn—from Itty Bitty Petting Zoo made a surprise appearance at the party.

Phoenix Hilton Reum’s Star-Studded Guest List
Phoenix’s mother, socialite Paris Hilton, naturally attracts an all-star guest list.
Kelly Osbourne and her 13-month-old son Sidney, Rumer Willis and her 9-month-old daughter Louetta, Lance Bass and Michael Turchin and their 2-year-old twins Alexander and Violet, Chanel West Coat, Kat Von D, Jessica Hart, and Selma Blair were all in attendance at the enchanting birthday party.

The little boy’s grandparents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, were also present, Paris’ brother Barron Hilton II, his wife Tessa von Walderdorff, and their kids.

A Princess Outfit Fit for a Fairytale Party
Paris Hilton dressed up for the occasion, channeling her inner princess for the fairytale-like festivity.
Known for her bold and striking looks, the 42-year-old media personality wore a powder blue ballgown with white accents for a dreamy effect.
The glamorous gown featured dramatic puffy short sleeves, a low-cut sweetheart neckline, and a voluminous floor-sweeping skirt with frilly accents.

The Stars are Blind singer showed her penchant for stars by accessorizing her stunning look with a star necklace and a star tiara.

“It’s Phoenix’s first birthday and we have a Sliving Under the Sea theme. So excited. I’ve thrown amazing birthday parties my whole life, so now to be able to do this for my little boy is just a special memory,” Paris said in an Instagram video while carrying her firstborn.
Prior to the celebration, Paris wrote a heartfelt tribute on Instagram for her son’s first birthday.
“One year ago, a beautiful angel baby entered our lives, bringing so much love and happiness. My precious little one, you are more than a dream come true. You make my life complete. Every day with you is a priceless gift, and I’m endlessly grateful to be your mommy. Celebrating your first of many birthdays, Baby P – here’s to a lifetime of laughter, love, and wonderful adventures with our cutesie crew! Happy 1st Birthday!”
