Amidst the ongoing strikes called by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the Writers Guild of America, the 80th Venice International Film Festival managed to attract a select group of celebrities.

These fortunate few, whose indie films secured a coveted SAG-AFTRA interim waiver, had the privilege to grace this annual cinematic extravaganza.

Without many prominent actors and screenwriters, the attendees were determined to turn up the glamour quotient and make their mark.

Traditionally celebrated for its exceptional fashion moments, this year’s Venice Film Festival witnessed Olga Kurylenko taking center stage with her mesmerizing wardrobe choices.

On Thursday, August 31, the 43-year-old Ukrainian-French actress stole the spotlight at the photocall of the television series D’Argent Et De Sang (Of Money And Blood), a French crime drama thriller where she plays a pivotal role.

For this momentous occasion, Olga exuded timeless beauty in a pink-striped dress by Elie Saab from the Lebanese fashion designer’s Resort 2024 collection.

The midi dress featured a corseted waist that beautifully accentuated her figure, while delicate white embroidered flowers adorned the dress’ top and bottom.

This playful yet sophisticated ensemble perfectly showcased the designer’s love for classically feminine silhouettes, making it an ideal choice for a summer festival.

Olga elegantly tied her long brunette tresses into a high ponytail, allowing her to proudly display her Pomellato jewels, including silver hooped earrings and a bracelet.

The Black Widow star completed her elegant look by wearing pink sparkly heels from Roger Vivier.

Later, for the premiere of her TV miniseries, Olga continued to captivate as she graced the red carpet in a breathtaking black thigh-high split dress, showcasing her enviable legs.

The Chanel embroidered gown, part of the French luxury fashion house‘s Resort 2024 collection, featured a daring plunging v-neckline and delightful cocktail, palm tree, skates, and disco ball embellishments.

Completing her ensemble with Chanel Fine Jewelry, Olga embodied sophistication and grace. She slipped into a pair of black high heels adorned with a large diamanté embellishment, making her a true fashion icon at this year’s festival.

D’Argent et de Sang (Of Money and Blood) is an upcoming French miniseries created, written, and directed by Xavier Giannoli and co-director Frederic Planchon.

It tells the captivating story of a group of small-time crooks partnering with an upper-class trader to execute a daring fraud in the world of “carbon quotas.” It’s a collision of “casino capitalism” and politics, where human passions far beyond greed take center stage.

The star-studded cast includes Vincent Lindon, Niels Schneider, Ramzy Bedia, and more, and will soon be aired on Canal+ in Autumn 2023.
