Christina Applegate, who is estimated to have a net worth of $25 million as of 2024, has had a long and successful career in the entertainment industry.
Her first big-screen appearance came at age 7 in 1981, when she starred in the low-budget horror movie Jaws of Satan. Surprisingly, it took her almost thirty years to try her hand at indie films.
In April 2016, the actress joked that “the salary is a little different” in indie films while attending the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival in New York for the “Youth In Oregon” screening.

Christina wore a beautiful blue-gray dress with asymmetrical sleeves and geometrical silhouettes at the hips. One sleeve was lined subtly with thin black lace, which also ran along the skirt’s hem.
What we love about this unconventional dress is how it looks soft and feminine from the side but becomes an entirely different story at the front.
She has a flourish tattooed on her right ankle and a braided vine tattoo on her left ankle. Are you a fan of foot and ankle tattoos?

The actress styled her dress with a gold bangle, a black clutch, and nude patent sandals. Gorgeous dress aside, we think her stylist may have been absent that night.

While Christina’s salary joke was likely rooted in truth, the then-44-year-old focused more on the joy of working in an indie film, which offered a much more raw and authentic experience compared to high-budget mainstream productions.
