Nicole Richie is one of the few celebrities we know who can truly pull off vintage dresses. By truly, we mean effortlessly because many stars also try the look but fail.

Last Friday at the QVC Style Party, Nicole hit the red carpet wearing a flamboyant vintage-looking gown that only she could pull off.

While most ladies wore black dresses, Nicole took a risk (that paid off) with her Etro Fall 2012 dress.

It featured ruching on rich velvet fabric and an attractive baroque-like print on the bodice.

The Secret Behind Nicole’s Vintage Collection
We love that this dress looks very flattering on Nicole’s petite figure. Despite all the dramatic details, the dress’s silhouette gave her a curvier look. When asked where she shops for her favorite vintage pieces, she responded:
I get most of my vintage Alaia, Geoffrey Beene and Zhanda Rhodes at a designer consignement store website called If Pockets Talked. It’s amazing.
So we checked out If Pockets Talked and found it a haven for anything and everything vintage. The site is loaded with major fashion pieces, including brands like Halston, Chanel, Givenchy, and more. They have new and pre-owned dresses, bags, coats, and shoes that are very drool-worthy. If you are a fan of vintage, mod, or bohemian style, make sure to visit the site, and you will surely fall in love with their products.
