We hear the boy-meets-girl style is one of fall’s top trends; are you ready to rock some borrowed-from-the-boys fashion for the coming season?
Nicole Richie is actually already starting with the trend. While vacationing in the French Riviera with her family last week, we spotted the celebrity fashionista sport a couple of masculine-feminine outfits that she capped off with a pair of black-and-white brogues.

The looks she put together were easy, effortless, and fabulously chic. Our favorite was the mix she wore when she visited Cap D’Antibes. The ensemble consisted of a nautical sleeveless top paired with red trousers and the same set of two-tone lace-ups:

Do you like her style? Would you wear such an outfit? And what about her bicolored shoes, would you rock them?
Nicole’s brogues are these Saint Laurent perforated two-tone derby shoes. They’re made of two-tone patent leather — one is in smooth black edged with tonal grosgrain trim, while the other is white and perforated. The shoes also come with 0.75-inch block heels for a little bit of lift.

These derby shoes are pretty retro. In fact, they remind us a lot of suited Mafia men back in the ’20s and ’30s. Thankfully, they aren’t as rounded. The slightly pointed silhouette is perfect since it’s a lot more flattering to wear.
So, what do you think? Are these Saint Laurent boy-shoes worth your glance, or do you prefer your lace-ups with much higher heels?
