Later in the evening, she took to Twitter to explain his absence from the premiere. “So proud of my hunky hubby @liamhemsworth & his newest movie #IsntItRomantic ❤️ He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons… but he is recovering and taking this time to rest/heal,” Miley wrote.

The 26-year-old superstar added, “It’s hard for entertainers to put themselves before the project but this time it was crucial….I am proud to represent him and his incredible work. Liam Hemsworth opened up about his marriage to Miley Cyrus during an interview on Live! with Kelly & Ryan in New York City. He revealed that his wife’s legal name is now “Miley Rae Hemsworth,” though she’ll “still be known as Miley Cyrus” professionally.
“I think that was honestly one of the best things about it. I didn’t ask her to take my name, but then she’s like, ‘No, of course, I’m taking your name,’” he said. “I’m like, ‘That’s awesome. That’s really good.’”
