Miley Cyrus attended a Myspace event on June 12 decked out in a street-style outfit that included a half-sweatpants and half-jeans creation.

Did we just write that? So many things are trying to “happen” in that one sentence, and we don’t even know where to begin.

First off, we didn’t know MySpace is still active, let alone has organized an event for celebrities to attend.

Secondly, yes, Miley Cyrus is still going strong with her image transformation into looking and sounding more like Rihanna urban.

Lastly, what are those half sweatpants, half jeans? Are they going to be a thing now?

Miley’s pants are from Ashish’s Spring 2013 collection. The left half is made of jeans, and the right half is made of sweatpants and sewn together.

If this is going to be a trend, we will need a name for it. Writing “half sweatpants, half jeans” all the time will be tedious, so we need to come up with a shorter and catchier name. Should we call it sweatjeans? Sweans? What do you suggest?

If the thought of half-and-half clothing becoming a trend sounds ridiculous, remember that we used to think jeans with leather chaps looked odd.

Now, they’re being spotted on the likes of Naya Rivera and Paris Hilton. And don’t forget Rihanna’s double-top jeans — they’re jeans with two waistbands sewn on top of each other, and they’re now sold out.
