Super Bowl weekend is known for more than just the big game itself. It’s also a time when many high-profile events and parties take place.
One such event was the Full Swing Premiere and Super Bowl After Party, co-hosted by Michelob Ultra and Netflix, held at Topgolf in Scottsdale, Arizona, on February 11, 2023. As expected for an event of this caliber, a lineup of A-list celebrities graced the occasion, making it a night to remember.

It was attended by some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, including tennis superstar Serena Williams and Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio.

The event was promotional for the highly anticipated Netflix documentary series Full Swing and the New Members Day Super Bowl advertisement for Michelob Ultra.
Among the standout guests, Serena Williams made a striking impression with her bold and stylish outfit choice.
Serena Williams Stuns in a Red Minidress
Serena Williams, one of the greatest tennis players of all time and a former professional 23-time Grand Slam singles champion, turned heads at the event with her exquisite sense of style.
The tennis star looked stunning in a red minidress and a matching sweater left unbuttoned before the first tee time. Serena Williams elevated her sporty-chic aesthetic with red and white high-top Nike Air Jordan sneakers, a classic choice for blending comfort with bold street-style appeal.
The Timeless Appeal of Nike Air Jordan Sneakers
Serena Williams’ choice of red and white high-top Nike Air Jordan sneakers at the Full Swing Premiere and Super Bowl After Party was more than just a fashion statement—it was a nod to one of the most influential sneaker lines of all time.
Originally launched in 1985 as Nike’s first signature shoe for Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan 1 revolutionized the sneaker industry and remains a staple in street style today. Williams opted for a minimal makeup look, letting her bleached curls, styled in soft waves, take center stage. Her hair featured voluminous curls cascading down her back, parted neatly in the middle.
From 1995 to 2022, Serena Williams was ranked No. 1 in singles by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) for 319 weeks, including a joint record of 186 consecutive weeks.
At the Full Swing Premiere and Super Bowl After Party, she showed that she is not just a sports legend but also a fashion icon.

While Serena Williams wowed in red, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio took a different approach, opting for a sleek and sophisticated look.
Alessandra Ambrosio’s Chic Blazer Dress Moment
Meanwhile, Alessandra Ambrosio also received significant attention because of her fantastic sense of style. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel wore a striking blazer dress that made her look like the supermodel she is.
The Casino Royale actress showed off her supermodel physique in a pink Jacquemus “Le Robe Bari” stretch wool mini dress with slits on both sides.

The Brazilian beauty elongated her frame with Femme LA ‘Gianni’ mules in a striking fantasy purple shade. In September 2021, Heidi Klum wore the powder blue version of the same heels with a Zimmermann Rhythm mini dress at the America’s Got Talent Season 16 semifinals.
She completed her look with a chic Bottega Veneta “Mini Jodie” top handle bag and elegant Melinda Maria “She’s So Smooth” baby hoop earrings. The statuesque supermodel styled her dark brown hair with a sleek middle part.
After dazzling on the red carpet, the stars embraced the event’s interactive element, taking to the driving range to show off their skills.

The driving range fun was fitting, given that the event also served as a platform to promote Netflix’s latest sports documentary, Full Swing.
Full Swing: Netflix’s Deep Dive Into Professional Golf
The event promoted the Full Swing documentary series, which follows the careers and personal lives of some top stars in professional golf, including their triumphs and defeats.
The series also chronicles their families, rivalries, and the remarkable drama of being professional athletes. As per Netflix, it also includes the PGA tour and, for the first time, all four of golf’s major championships: the Masters/Augusta National, PGA Championship, US Open, and Open Championship.
Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl Ad Brings Caddyshack Vibes
The star-studded event was also for the New Members Day Super Bowl advertisement for Michelob Ultra, which debuted during Super Bowl LVII.
It is set at Bushwood Country Club, the fictitious country club from Caddyshack. It features a host of celebrities and athletes, including Serena Williams, Brian Cox, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, soccer player Alex Morgan, and champion boxer Canelo Alvarez.
The Caddyshack spoof advertisement also featured a fragment of “I’m Alright,” a Kenny Loggins song that served as the theme song for the 1980 golf comedy picture.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, Serena Williams has also been a symbol of resilience and empowerment, facing and overcoming countless challenges throughout her career.
Serena Williams on Defying Critics and Breaking Barriers
In an interview with Insider, Serena Williams spoke about the relentless criticism she has experienced and how it has affected her.
“Growing up in the public eye, you really are affected by what people say,” said the tennis star. In the past, Serena has been ridiculed for things such as her outfits and body.

It got to the point where she decided, “I don’t care what people think. God made us able to make our own decisions, and if people don’t want to like me, that’s okay. Get in line, there’s going to be a long waiting list.”
Today, Serena channels negativity into fuel for her success, proving critics wrong with every move. Her attitude is, “That’s what I needed to hear. You’re going to regret what you just said.”

Venture capital funding is when investors invest in emerging companies. Recently, Serena learned that less than 2% of women and less than 1% of people of color receive venture capital funding.
To change that statistic, she launched her own investment company, Serena Ventures. Serena felt she had to get involved with the funding, “otherwise it’s going to be the same boy’s club, except not for a lot of black people.”

In addition to this project, the tennis player is the mother of Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., whom she shares with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, an entrepreneur.
“Mom guilt is real. I always feel so guilty when I’m doing something on my own,” she said about struggling to find enough time for her daughter.

“I don’t know if I’m a good mom, and I don’t know if my method works, but I’m very hands-on with my daughter,” she said, “and it was the same with our parents.”
