Lena Dunham could learn a few things from Michelle Dockery. The “Downton Abbey” actress also chose an interesting dress for the 2014 Emmys.
Her color-blocked Rosie Assoulin Fall 2014 gown features folded flaps at the sides of the legs that could’ve easily been compared to a parachute, a tablecloth, or a napkin.

But instead of being criticized, Michelle earned glowing reviews simply because of the way she carried herself. Her confidence carried her far enough that all she really needed was natural makeup, a low chignon, and understated jewelry.
It even shone past the misaligned darts on the bodice and the wrinkling on the skirt, which have become trivial compared to the rest of Michelle’s winning red carpet look.
