It’s a year of many firsts for pop music’s newest breakout star!
Her debut single, Drivers License, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, propelled her career to new heights! And in just a few months, she has already become a household name in music.
Enjoying her rapid rise to fame, Olivia Rodrigo, who supports the White House’s vaccination drive, looked every inch the star as she attended two high-profile events this week.
On Monday night, the 18-year-old actress-singer made her Met Gala debut, arriving at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in a punk-rock ensemble from Saint Laurent.

Wearing her boldest look yet, the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star showcased her legs and butt cheeks in a form-fitting sheer full-length bodysuit.
The daring see-through mesh lace number boasts ostrich feather trims across the off-the-shoulder neckline and black high-waisted briefs that helped protect her modesty.

“I think it’s really fun that I’m not wearing a dress to my first Met. I just think it looks so rock ‘n’ roll and yet so sophisticated,” Olivia told Vogue about her outfit.
“I’m just a big fan of [Anthony Vaccarello] Saint Laurent. Their clothes are so punk rock and yet feminine, and that’s something I always try to achieve in my fashion sense and my style in everyday life. I always think they’re pushing boundaries and doing really cool things, so I feel really lucky to get to wear them to my first Met.”

Styled by sisters Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, the Filipino-American singer dialed up the glamour with $1,290 Saint Laurent chunky rhinestone drop earrings and matching silver bracelets.
For her beauty look, makeup artist Molly Greenwald created a soft sketchy punk eye-makeup with a smokey crease, glowing cheeks, and fluffy groomed eyebrows.
Hairstylist Clayton Hawkins then pulled Olivia’s dark tresses back into a sleek center-parted twisted bun.

Hitting the VMAs red carpet for the first time, Olivia Rodrigo strutted her stuff in a pink vintage gown from the Atelier Versace Spring 2001 Haute Couture collection.
It’s inspired by the 1940s tailored silhouettes, complete with a boned bodice that accentuated her tiny waist. The peach number also has a cleavage-baring strapless neckline, a purple tulle overlay, and a short floor-sweeping train.

The VMA newcomer bagged three awards out of her five nominations. She took home the Best New Artist award as well as the Push Performance of the Year and Song of the Year for Drivers License.
She also took to the stage to perform her hit single Good 4 U from her critically acclaimed debut album, Sour.
