Is it becoming too predictable, or has Megan Thee Stallion found her signature designer? The rapper chose Mugler for her two looks at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
Both outfits relied heavily on the cut-out trend, with Megan showing off her midriff with outfits worthy of an ‘80s music video.

Her red carpet look was an ombre nude and black dress with an intricate plastic halter neck. While the top may have been mermaid-inspired, the bottom half of the mini dress focused on a cut-out at the hip with a thin train.
Although the outfit was unmistakably Mugler, it seemed too predictable for the 27-year-old performer. She wore the dress to win the Top Rap Female Artist honor, beating Cardi B and Latto, who were also nominated for the award.

It’s the latest in a series of red carpet looks with Fashion Nova-worthy outfits that bare as much skin as possible. Her ankle-strap heels were from the Jimmy Choo x Mugler collaboration.

Megan’s second look of the night was a Mugler jumpsuit with cut-out silhouettes that left less than half the fabric on show.

We get it, Megan. You’re single-handedly keeping cut-outs a trend. She paired the structured jumpsuit with a pair of lace-up combat boots.
Earlier this month, the wealthy rapper accompanied Moschino’s creative director, Jeremy Scott, to the 2022 Met Gala in a head-to-toe gold gown with wings.

“I feel like I’m gold anyway, and I feel like I came out here to give my skin, I came out here to give melanin,” she told People of her look. “Gold looks beautiful on me.”
“Me and Jeremy have been talking in the DMs forever. I feel like I’ve always known him, I feel like he’s so fun,” she said of the American fashion designer. “And he was like, ‘Megan, you coming to the Met Gala with me?’ I was like, ‘Yes I am. OK, that’s fine. Here I come.'”

Classic Elegance: Megan Thee Stallion Stuns in Coach and Stuart Weitzman at the 2021 Met Gala
In September 2021, Megan Thee Stallion attended the 2021 Met Gala in an elegant Coach ensemble. Her dress had a slight prom-like vibe, and she accessorized her look with a Coach top-handle bag and Stuart Weitzman platinum noir Nudist sandals.

Megan Thee Stallion got her nickname “Stallion” when she was younger. Friends and people around her jokingly referred to her as a “stallion” because of her height (5’10”) and her curvy, tall physique.
In Southern slang, “stallion” is often used to describe a tall, strong, attractive woman. Megan embraced the nickname and eventually incorporated it into her stage name, Megan Thee Stallion.
While we don’t have any photos of Megan and Timothée together to compare, we’re sure we’re not the only ones hoping that the two feed the hype by taking a photo together soon.
