Speaking to PEOPLE about their approach, the Saltburn actress shared, “We’re finding Barbie references from decades past and just doing it really for the big Barbie fans out there, people who are actually collecting those Barbies. We’re hoping to get them excited. We’re pairing Barbie references with great designers.”
Margot Robbie’s Golden Globe Nomination
Amidst the glamour and style, Margot Robbie received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, acknowledging her portrayal of the titular character in the Barbie-centric film.

During the awards ceremony, Margot Robbie, also a co-producer of the film, dedicated the Globe for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award for Barbie to moviegoers worldwide in her acceptance speech, saying, “I would like to dedicate this to every single person on the planet who dressed up and went to the greatest place on earth: the movie theaters.”
