Always looking for attention, Madonna hit the red carpet on Sunday at the 2014 Grammy Awards with her eight-year-old son, David Banda. He picked out the red carpet outfits for himself and his mom.
Madonna and her then-husband Guy Ritchie adopted David Banda from the Home of Hope Orphan Care Center in Malawi.
David Banda Mwale Ciccone Ritchie was 13 months old at the time and had been placed in the orphanage by his father, Yohane Banda, after his mother’s death.

The 55-year-old singer, whose birth name is Madonna Louise Ciccone, wore a double-breasted, wide-leg black tuxedo from the Ralph Lauren Spring 2014 collection.

Madonna unsurprisingly added her unique touch to the outfit, accessorizing with a cross pendant on her black tie, sparkling fingerless gloves, and a black cane.

David finished off his Ralph Lauren boy’s ensemble with black-and-white brogues.
Asked by Ryan Seacrest about her teeth grills, Madonna responded, “Yeah, I’m grillin’. It pisses everybody off when I wear my grill, so that’s why I wear it. I wear it when I don’t have to eat. Actually, I’ve learned to eat with my grill in.”
