Madonna may be a legend in her own right, but even music superstars have idols.
The pop icon became a complete fan of The Beatles after attending the premiere of the documentary film “The Beatles: Eight Days a Week.”

The singer’s presence alone commanded a thunderous entrance on the red carpet at the premiere in London.
“Just perfect,” Madonna wrote on Instagram of the film after its premiere. “An inspiring and sobering reminder of this genius band.”

Madonna wore a casual baseball dress from China-based MO&Co, paired with her infamous Mawi “Thief'” bag and a pair of Alaïa platform boots.
It was pretty refreshing to see Madonna forgo the typical high-end brands, opting instead to pick out a dress from a humble retailer on the other side of the globe.
The price of the dress, however, is anything but humble. It retails for a staggering $450.

In a 1994 interview with Paul Du Noyer, Madonna revealed that while she grew up listening to 1960s artists like Tony Bennett and was influenced by classical composers like Mozart during her ballet lessons, The Beatles influenced her subliminally.
However, she strongly preferred Motown and girl groups over The Beatles. “They were there, but I was more eager about The Supremes. I was really into girl groups. But I had older brothers playing them, so I’d say they were a subliminal influence on me,” she said.

Madonna paid tribute to her idols and friends by singing a version of “Hard Day’s Night” with two other gal pals. The performance was a bit more explicit than the original, but it wouldn’t be a Madonna version if it weren’t.
The remaining original members of The Beatles — Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr — were in attendance.
