Lucy Hale may be stepping into a darker role with her character Lake Edmunds in the thriller and true-crime series “Ragdoll,” but her fashion choices have been as bright and bold as ever.
Earlier this month, Lucy stepped out in New York City to promote “Ragdoll” on Good Morning America.

Lucy flaunted a colorful blouse from Giuseppe Di Morabito paired with teal flared pants. She was high-spirited as she filled the stage with sophistication and elegance.
Lucy completed her glamorous interview look with delicate earrings from American jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher and the coveted “Gabbi” bag from Jw Pei.
The actress capped off her look with Sophia Webster’s Phoenix platform sandals that featured hotfix crystal embellishments.

The actress may have been promoting a thrilling and frightful series, but she was all smiles and joy during her talk with GMA host Michael Strahan.
Lucy let everyone know that she’s a “true crime junkie.”
“I’m totally on the true crime bandwagon,” she said. “My mom, sister, and I have a text thread talking about our new favorite true crime podcast. I feel like I’ve almost been preparing for this role without knowing my whole life. Grew up loving Forensic Files.”
Lucy went on to share more about the tone of “Ragdoll.”
“It’s dark,” she said. “There should be a disclaimer. It’s pretty disturbing but I’m into that kind of thing.”
“Ragdoll” is about six people who were murdered, stitched together and fitted in a single Ragdoll-shaped cadaver. The horrifying dead bodies were left hanging from the ceiling of a flat located in a neighborhood in London.

Lucy’s role in all of that? Her character Lake Edmunds is a detective responsible for solving the crime. How does it all end? Better tune in to find out!
“Ragdoll” is based Daniel Cole’s novel, available on Amazon. The thriller series premiered Nov. 11, 2021 on AMC+.
Prior to picking up her role on “Ragdoll,” Lucy appeared on “The Hating Game,” a romantic-comedy set to be released December 10.
Lucy is perhaps most famously known for her role as Aria Montgomery in “Pretty Little Liars,” which ran from 2010 to 2017.
She’s also had roles on “Life Sentence” and “Riverdale,” where she played character Katy Keene.
She garnered her first big break back in 2003 when she became one of the five winners of “American Juniors,” a reality show.

In October 2016, a slew of stylish stars stepped out to attend ELLE’s 23rd annual Women in Hollywood Awards held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Lucy showcased one of the best looks of the evening. She was the picture of feminine sophistication in a girly — yet classy — Marchesa Spring 2017 dress.

The tiny frock was cute but sexy, with see-through lace trim and red-and-pink flower appliqués.
Lucy simply accessorized her look with a couple of diamond and gold earrings as well as some dainty rings.
She styled her dark brown tresses in a sleek center-parted updo and completed the look with heavy makeup. She used deep wine-colored lipstick and well-defined eyebrows to contrast her pale complexion.

Lucy complemented her frock with a lacy pair of Mary Jane pumps, also by Marchesa. These pumps have velvet trim, adjustable straps with sparkling buckles, and about four-inch heels.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t find these pumps online.
