Jennifer Lopez took the stage at the LA Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala on Thursday in Los Angeles, where she invited her daughter Emme to the stage to sing a song together. Lopez introduced Emme with they/them pronouns for the first time.
Emme emerged from backstage, wearing a hot pink shirt, matching shorts, and holding a sparkling rainbow microphone. They shared the stage for the first time since the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show.

The pair performed a beautiful rendition of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.”
JLo shared behind-the-scenes pictures of her “favorite duet partner of all time” below the stage, who appeared excited while waiting for their cue.
“The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this, and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won’t,” Lopez said to the crowd, referencing their Super Bowl Halftime performance.

“So this is a very special occasion. They are very, very busy. Booked. And pricey.”
“They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me,” Jennifer added while introducing her daughter.

In March 2011, Jennifer Lopez was spotted over the weekend in Puerto Rico wearing Ruthie Davis ‘Robot’ ankle strap sandals, though we, unfortunately, don’t have a photo of her shoes.
While they can’t be seen in the photo of Lopez, reliable sources have confirmed that she was sporting these:

The ‘Robot’ platform sandals are from the Ruthie Davis Spring 2011 Collection and were first seen during the Dennis Basso Spring/Summer 2011 show.
The futuristic and fashion-forward colors—almond, taupe, and silver—were carefully selected to give you that robot-y and space-age vibe.

The “Robot” sports Davis’ trademark heels— exposed metal that separates the wood or patent-covered upper portion and the clear lucite lower portion of the heel. The straps come in almond, taupe, and silver colors.
The “Robot” sandals are also available in black with clear plastics straps thrown in:

“It’s been great because it was slow,” J.Lo said on the red carpet about being back on the music scene. She gave birth to twins Emme and Max on February 22, 2008.
“We didn’t rush anything [after having the twins]. It’s been a slow steady coming back into the public consciousness but it’s been great. It’s been awesome.”
